Do these people realize no one DEPENDS on fast food?

If there are lines at the local Mickey Ds or BK or what have you due to "work stoppage" most people will find alternatives at the nearby Arbees or just grab a cold sandwich at the 7/11.

And in FF, you don't get paid for hours you don't work AND not showing up is a firing offense.

This will not end well for those who will "strike."

This reminds me of the DUmp democrat a few years ago who so strongly favored a "general strike", he said it made him want to go out and get a job.

Burger-flipper and register-jockey are entry-level positions. Any primitives who go along with this strike ILO of showing up for their shifts are likely to end up back on the unemployment line.

Increase the worker cost and robotics become very attractive, particularly at such low interest charges. The big companies will quit buying back shares and start capital spending on Robby the Burger Flipper. Don't be too surprised when burger prices go down at the first automated burger franchiser.

The Laffer curve is just not for taxes.

I think McDonalds uses automation in many of their restaurants already. I know they use some type of device that cooks both sides of the burgers at the same time.

There are some Micky D's around here that have a machine that fills soda cups.  All the person at the window has to do is push a button for what size and kind of soda the customer wants, and put a lid on it.

Even a DUmmie would have to work at f'n that up, but I'm sure they already can.
