DUmmy Dennis The Menace, a professionally, officially diagnosed lunatic, shows signs of sliding over the edge just in time for a great DOTY campaign. Let's hope this is the start of somethng big:

I need just a few of your vibes, please.
I know I have done really well bringing myself back from the brink last year, but I now find that I am having anxiety and really vivid memories of past traumas coming back. A lot lower level than last year, but enough I am spooked by it. Last night I had a session with my trainer, and he could tell something was wrong, kept asking me if I was ok, and at one point it got to me and I kind of had to fight back the tears. I was able to do,it so he didn't notice.
I know I have to deal with this. I have an appt this morning with the psychiatrist. As much as I desperately want a 100% squeaky clean bill of mental health that states "this guy is about 1000% sane" I have to nip this in the bud NOW before it gets out of control. So, I have to tell her and see what we can do about it.
I can handle a few roadbumps, just not a full on 110 MPH car crash.
Hi and TIA. My anxious angst filled PTSD self thanks you for your ongoing support.

2. Sending you positive thoughts and wishes
Just remember that you have the force of DU with you.
The force of DU!! If that doesn't send the nut over the edge, nothing will.

5. Yeah, I got back from my appointment.
That's pretty much what she said. It's something that is burnt into my memory, the time of year, situations, etc. are bringing it up, and I am sensitive to that anyway.
We are just staying the course. Her exact words: It's just anxiety. Anxiety isn't dangerous. It can be very uncomfortable, but it won't hurt you. If you need to cry, cry. If you vomit, you vomit. Just remember it will pass and you will be ok."
DUmmy Dennis the Menace is a jackwagon. He needs to chug on over to namby-pamby land.
DUmmy hedgehog is as crazy as Dennis:

9. You've made a significant step recognizing that what your feeling is coming from inside
rather than outside. I usually go through this certain times of the year, and when I can step back and realize that I was at a low point on my annual cycle, it helps a lot.

10. I love you all.
Thanks so much for the support, and for making me feel like a "normal" guy again. It helps a lot, more than you can know.
You're not a "normal" guy, Dennis, you are a professionally, officially diagnosed lunatic, and always will be.
Poor addled grasswipe Judy Smith really likes Dennis the Menace. As she mumbles and bumbles her way along the steaming August sidewalks, bundled in three overcoats, he makes her feel more normal:

11. Denn, I've been meaning to tell you...
....that your postings have helped me to understand what a family member of mine has gone through in the last few years, coming to grips with childhood abuse and spousal abuse. Thank you for your courage and your transparency here.
Of course we are here for you, all the way.
And are you doing walnuts this year?
Dennis isn't "doing" nuts. He "is" nuts.
