I always find these threads to be amusing.

According to what we've read from the primitives (and the political left in general), the teachings of Jesus involved taxing the rich and then using the gov't to distribute the money derived from those tax receipts to those it deems to be in need. If you support gov't doing these things, then your personal involvement in the lives of helping others isn't necessary. In fact, it's the same as you doing it.

Yeah, I know it's  :mental:

But, it is what they believe.

DUmmies aren't Christians because then GOD would tax them 10% to help the poor......but then again, they don't pay any government taxes either. So, they are neither good Christians nor good citizens.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

When a DUmbass acknowledges Jesus presented Himself as Lord and Saviour I may listen to their (wrong) opinions on anything to do with Him.

I think you give them too much credit for being human to begin with.   :lmao:

I just can't help but laugh at the way they view how Christianity works. As I said, their viewpoint is "Oh, there's someone in need? Then let's take money from others via taxes, create a gov't program to see to that need, and then we've done our part." The idea of actually one-on-one helping others never comes into play with the political left. It's always from a distance with the tools to help people having been taken from others. Personal sacrifice is anathema to liberals.

That's why they can't be Christians.

They're DUmmies, what do you expect?

But the world record for stupid religious comments is still held by W, when he called muzzies the "religion of peace".

First, what a hate filled rant by the DUchebag. What would a DUchebag be if not for greed, envy, and hate?

Second you forgot to add in while taking a huge percentage before passing it on and getting ultra rich. It's  slavery plain and simple..
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The DUmmies like to pick and choose parts of Christianity to suit them.

Exactly, and the parts change as well.

Half of the time it's parts which they (mistakenly) take to support liberalism and use them to bash conservatives.

Yep. The very people who fear, hate and despise Christians are always the people who claim to know the most about the faith. They can't quote a Bible verse without looking it up on a "safe" liberal site...and yet they want to define what I can or can't believe.

I'm just glad my savior is not a govt program.

I'm pretty sure the Bible never mentions what political party one must support in order to be a Christian.
I also know that Jesus never mentioned taking anything by force to give to the needy. His message was if you followed him, you would be as helpful as you could possibly be to those around you. He didn't say petition the government to take from the evil rich greedy bastards.

Leftists have as much understanding about the Bible as they do about the Constitution.

It also amuses me that they invoke the "sky daddy" when they think they can somehow use it to further their agenda, any other time the name of Jesus must never be mentioned in public.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.
