To those who are on the board who actually drive BMWs, well, you're not the jerky ones. :-)

Men who drive blue BMWs are more likely to be aggressive than motorists in any other car, a study claims.
 
And the peak time for drivers to get angry is 5.45pm on a Friday as they fight the rush-hour – followed by the dismal Monday morning commute.
 
The likeliest road rage culprits are men aged 35-50 with blue BMW cars, the study of 2,837 motorists found. Drivers also reported run-ins with owners of Land Rovers, Audis, Subarus and Vauxhalls.

Blue was seen as the most aggressive colour, followed by black, silver, green and red.
 
Men said they lost their temper behind the wheel seven times a month on average, while women got angry on only three occasions.

It's probably confined to Britian, but I see that the drivers that cut off people the most, tailgate cars in front of me, and happen to be driving assholes of the highest order tend to be driving BMW 3- or 5-series sedans.  YMMV.

I can confirm that at least out here in po-dunk Utah, I also see similar behavior - as indicated in the article - from Audi and Land Rover drivers.  Though the PITA Land Rover drivers are usually idiot wimmins on their cell phones while they cut you off.

My family universally refers to the traffic hazards around here as Insane Utah (or Utard, depending on how close the encounter was) Drivers.

A few years ago at a local kids baseball game, I saw a black woman wearing a "Tee" shirt with a BMW emblem on it and it said "what every black woman wants".....and later I read the fine print underneath and busted out laughing....it said "Black Man Working".

Considering the degree to which Shitcago and their willing accomplices in Springfield are striving to turn your entire state into a 3rd world shithole, I'm a little amazed that they haven't restricted vehicle types permitted on your roadways to Volkswagens, Citreons, Opels, 'Tard cars and the like.

There are lots of SUVs, 4-wheel drive trucks , a few Hummers, but very few "tard cars".  This is a small city surrounded by farmland.  There are even farm fields within the city limits.
