NBC News contacted around 20 small businesses and other entities for this report and found that employee hours are being cut to 29 hours because of Obamacare, despite the delay of the employer mandate. But the White House, NBC News reports, says that there is no systematic evidence that this is because of Obamacare and dismisses the report as anecdotal.

The Obama White House is a farce.

UPS to drop 15,000 spouses from insurance, cites Obamacare

United Parcel Service Inc. plans to remove thousands of spouses from its medical plan because they are eligible for coverage elsewhere. The Atlanta-based logistics company points to the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, as a big reason for the decision, reports Kaiser Health News.

Earlier this week, Forever 21 Inc. became the latest national company to cut employee hours to counter the impact of Obamacare, according to Policymic.com.

Atlanta-based AAA Parking, a parking garage operator that employs more than 1,600 companywide, moved about half of its 500 full-time hourly employees to part-time status on April 15, in response to the law.

My son is a bartender/server, and works not 5 minutes from home. Everyone got their hours cut back in the spring to 29, and were told it was because of Obamacare. The pub hired more servers. He's been picking up extra shifts whenever he can. They had their monthly employee meeting a week or so ago, and everyone was told to stop giving T their shifts, cause he was working too many hours (excess of 60).

So he got another bartending job yesterday. Down on the edge of campus, 20 minutes away, and will be driving home sometime after 4am, with all the drunks.... 

He'll work the 29+ hours at the one close to home and more at the one near campus cause they have fewer employees.

I heard on the TV this morning that some company - cannot remember which, but it was big - is kicking employees off their insurance policies if the spouse is working and has his/her own policy.

All's well, nothing to see here.  The new part time employees hired to cover the former full timeers hours will drastically lower the unemployment rate.  And, of course, the lower unemployment rate will be all you will hear about in the MSM.

Greta had three college grads on who can't get full time employment.  They all have part time jobs, two not in their field of study.  They all also said that the friends they graduated with are having the same problem.
