Just informed my 83 year old mother that her favorite son is no longer welcome...............

in my home.

Mom lives with me, I told her that this brother of mine is welcome to visit her, take her shopping, etc. but I need advance notice because I will not share the same breathing space as him. He is welcome for holidays, but I will not be here in the home, I will go elsewhere.

Why, you might ask I did this, it's because he's been ****ing with me for 3 weeks. Here's the reason. As some of you may know, I've been unemployed for near 3 years. I have 3 brothers and I have begged them (they know everyone) to help me find something. This brother always tells about how he got someone (not family) a job. This brother has a full time job and is a high school JV coach. I have a Masters in Education. I'm not looking for a teaching job, anything in a school district will help. So I called him on the carpet 3 weeks ago and said you have to help me somehow.

The plan was for me to email the Superintendent (his very good friend) tell him what I was looking for and I would even take a part time job (just to get my foot in the door). I did that, I have never heard back from the Superintendent. But my brother has lied for 3 weeks. Lies, like "Super said he hasn't filled everything yet, Super will email you, then secretary will email you, then it was I should have an email on August 9, then it was August 12, etc. When there was no email yesterday & no new listings on the District's website, I realized he's been ****ing with me. Brother is now not answering his phone or texts. Mom talked to his daughter & told her to have her Dad call Mom, wonder of wonders, no phone call.

I left a message on his voice mail last night and was in a tirade, told him that I don't like getting ****ed by a brother, that he should grow some balls and tell me the truth, etc. I am now going to text him and tell him the new rules. I was up until 4 a.m. in tears that he did this to me. I was looking forward to working in this district (I student taught there), they have no nepotism rules, so that's not the reason he did this. I'm crying now.

So let me get this right.

DUmmy moved (back) into mother's house. DUmmy is unemployed (what a surprise). DUmmy didn't lift a finger to find a new job. DUmmy expected her brother to find a job for her. DUmmy's brother was unable or unwilling (I'm guessing the latter, brother knows the she won't work and so won't put his reputation on the line for her) to assist. DUmmy now demands that brother not enter their mother's house in which DUmmy is squatting.

Does that sound about right?

My thoughts also.  If his mom is 83, he's probably close to retirement.  Besides, why would a school district even want to hire someone with a depressing personality and mouth like that around kids?

As previously mentioned, that quote is a trait all DUchebags have. It's like they are 5 years old. My guess is early use of weed does this as I see this trait in many young people. A few years ago a twenty something woman was a receptionist for our company. I extensively told her what needed to be done for a customer buy off. She replied "It would be easier if you just did this." My response was "If I have to do this then one of us is not needed." This was not the first time that she pulled a stunt like that and I immediately let her go.  She went to the labor board and complained that I was mean to her. She did not win her case.

How does this DUmmie know that his brother didn't put in a good word for him?  Getting recommended for a position doesn't mean that you will get it, and the superintendent is probably so busy with start of the year stuff that making a part time job for his buddy's sibling is not high on the priority list.

The time to apply for school jobs was really at least six months ago, or at a minimum, before the school year ended.  Looking for a school job now is stupid, especially asking for a part time job to be created for you.
