He WAS a sweetie.
But if you can believe it he was spoiled.
He refused to eat his dog food.
He turned his nose up at it when we fed him.
He held out all day long through all 3 meals while patrolling the kitchen during food prep.
Then, at the very end of the day, after we were in bed with the lights out, he would sneak over to his bowl then and eat...if he wasn't already full on people food.
That was his favorite trick.
So if I wanted him to eat when I put his food down, I played "can daddy have" with his bowl.
After a couple of threats to his bowl that he fended off, he would start eating, and I could leave him in peace.
That was my favorite trick.
