Several large explosions were reported late Monday at a propane plant in Tavares, Fla. Local media quoted authorities as saying there were multiple injuries and evacuations.
The explosions occurred about 11 p.m. ET at the Lake County plant of Blue Rhino, NBC station WESH of Orlando reported. "Multiple" people suffered unspecified injuries and that residents were being evacuated for a mile around the site in what authorities called a "mass casualty scene," it reported.

Twenty-four people were working the night shift, and 10 are unaccounted for, Tavares City Administrator John Drury told The Orlando Sentinel. The number of injured wasn't immediately known, but the Lake County Medical Examiner's Office was advised to expect multiple victims.
Enormous explosions were continuing at 12:30 a.m. ET Tuesday, more than an hour and a half after the first blasts were reported

Maybe 15 miles from my grandpa's house. I'm on the other side of Orlando about 40 miles from there...local news sys multiple ambulances in and out...at least 10 employees unaccounted for...

at least 2 at hospital with bad burns...

Why you made me laugh hard...I had a similar thought, but after decades of first EMS and now on to the second year of reporting...I know that stress relief is best done in private. And trust me, it's kind of necessary for your psychological well being. My thoughts went into EMS jokes on burned people, I just chose not to voice them.

As to the boycott, it's independent, but some folks will conflate it. For me there are more than a few states I would not feel welcomed at this point, as an immigrant with a heavy accent, who happens to be Jewish...Incidentally it includes large swaths of Florida, and a few swaths of my back country, as in less than an hour from where I type...where Blood flags are there, if you know what you are looking for.
