i doubt the people looking for support in this SUPPORT group are interested in crack pot medical advice. i know i am not. if you want that kind of info the health forum, which is the proper place to discuss symptoms and treatments, if full of that sort of thing. or there is alternative healing, too.
 
i intend to alert on them in the future. they make this forum useless. and aggravating as hell.

1. This forum has been pretty good about discouraging the wooheads that occasionally wander in here since we're all too damned sick to use anything but real medicine.
 
They might post nonsense once but they rarely come back to do it twice.

That's an odd statement considering practically every thread in that forum discusses symptoms and treatment.

Mopinko the hypochondriac isn't at all interested in treatment for his imaginary afflictions. He wants attention and a government check.

not the worst thing in the world, but shit.
saw my rheumie today for an overdue recheck. have fibro, asthma, gerd, autoimmune thyroiditis, central apnea. have had persistent trouble with a couple fingers since i had 2 cervical discs herniate. (several years ago) got them fused, but the fingers are still hypersensitive.
the neck still bothers me fairly regularly, and the wrists get sore when they are fatigued. lately waking up with tingling, pain and stiffness.
so, doc wrote an order for splints to sleep with. i suppose they are going to torture me with several ineffective treatments before they do surgery. like always.

sigh. not that big a deal after years of trouble with the fingers. but shit. if i thought for sure he was right, i might not be quite as depressed. but i have as much trouble in my neck as my wrists.
more questions, more tests, more appointments. just when i thought i could live with feeling like shit if i could just stay away from the docs. but they don't give you any pills if you don't see the doc.

I find it interesting that the mopinko primitive, who sells crumpled up newspaper, bits of plaster, and other pieces of garbage she calls art, would be so critical of primitives who label alternative cures and herbs as medicine.  

Her 'art' is no closer to being real art than the alternative and herbal cure primitive's 'medicine' is to being prescription drugs.
