Last week while we were staying at Sam's Town we never made it downstairs in time for breakfast.  Breakfast was all but over by 9:30.  So we went to IHOP.  No pie.

I like it.  Sam's Town bought the hotel and casino from Harrah's.  This is in Shreveport, btw.  It is nicer now than when it was Harrah's and it was nice then too.  

We had two free nights to use, so we spent them in room 818 overlooking the Red River, which was kind of brown during our visit.  It's hard to judge how wide that river is until you see a boat on it.

We left with almost-to-the-penny the same amount of money we had when we arrived.  I'll take that and be happy.

It was a great time.  I love tootling around Shreveport.
