I've said this before, but I think that bears repeating given the state of lunacy we're seeing from the other side.

Liberals will spend hours debating whether 4 is 2 + 2 or 1 + 3.   

Conservatives will go to their hourly teabagger rallies, hear the speaker/screamer/screecher proclaim that 2 + 2 = 3, and then yell that anyone who says different is a traitor, communist, nazi, socialist, is committing treason, etc., ad infinitum! They will genuinely believe it, too!

Yes they are this delusional. The people that have no understanding of anything. Everything they believe is something they had someone read to them off a bumper sticker, or something read off a prompter at MSNBC or by the preezy himself. They are totally based on emotion, and facts are irrelevant. They typically choose their beliefs by what is considered popular, and will stick to it no matter how much evidence there is they are wrong.

If you want to see the difference between conservatives/TEA party and liberal/progressives, just watch their rallies. And compare the clean-up costs and damage assessments afterward.

The difference between fascism and socialism is determined by how the government comes to power.

If its by the will of the people, its Socialism. If its at the end of a gun, its Fascism. Other than that, the governance is pretty much the same. The state controls everything, and 'your share' of it is determined by the government. In the case of a Fascist government, your share might amount to a bullet to the head if you are declared 'incompatible' with the leader's plan for society. Socialists do that too, but they don't advertise it.

Unless one manages to hook up with a hippie drum circle, one will never find 'Communism' - Someone/some group always ends up 'in charge' - how they get that way determines if the resulting government is Fascist or Socialist.

Socialism ends with a gun,fascism and communism starts with a gun. They are all the slightly different tint of the same color. Initially fascism will bring prosperity because business in involved but they all result in the same, millions of dead and tens of millions in misery.

The USA while a big country ranked number 2 in both economic freedom and prosperity in 2008. Fast forward to 1013 and we rank number 13 on economic freedom and have gone from 2nd in wages to number 11. This is what 0bamanomics, better known as socialism, is doing in the USA.
