November 22, 1963, Dallas, TX

This is not a JFK conspiracy thread!

Someone here mentioned on a thread that the day JFK was killed, the radios were playing "Theme From a Summer Place" over and over again, in-between news reports.

Does anyone else remember this?

Sounds creepy as hell. For those who don't know the song:

some black-and-white youtube thingamajig

Anyways, I was thinking that day could be one hell of a setting.

Not on the killing itself, but the fear, paranoia and angst associated with that day.

And this is right after the Cuban Missile Crisis....

I was not there, it took 7 more years for genetics to perfect someone as awesome as me.

But with a setting like that, either in one single setting - or a survey type - would be a great story.

Uh, one suspects the Taverner primitive overrates himself, what with that eggplant head.

apres moi, le deluge

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

^That's Taverner ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Have you ever noticed how much his nose looks like that of Richard Millhous Nixon?

I wouldn't hire that to dig a ditch.  Sheesh.  :banghead:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

He has a big mouth and he's full of hot air.  Add some water, and he might make a decent steam shovel.

That twerp couldn't serve as a decent chock under the tread.  :banghead:

Even if you hired him, and he showed up...your ditch still wouldn't get dug.
He is a gay prostitute. That's a lot easier than WORKing.

In other words, he couldn't be trusted to plow the trench?  :naughty:

Let's sum up the JFK years for the DUmbasses:

He was a too-horny dullard with a bad back who couldn't even command a PT boat, who had a rich daddy who bought him enough votes to get in the White House, along with his gold-digging wife, two weird kids, and his brother.

Sums it up quite nicely.  :cheersmate:

And in the Kennedy/Corleone mob, he wasn't even his father's choice.

JFK was the Fredo of the family.

The old man wanted to buy the White House for Sonny (Joe, Jr.), but he died too soon.

The evil genius of the second generation was the little brother Michael (the snotty Bobby Kennedy).

The drunken slug Teddy didn't have a part.

Well, the last one is only partially true.  When Teddy was around, there was never any need for the Kennedy family to have one of the contraptions pictured below.  So he did serve at least some purpose, small as it may be.
