Gun store Bouncy
« on: July 21, 2013, 12:53:07 PM »
You don't get many Bouncies of this "caliber" (LOL, I crack myself up) in the Gungeon. It's usually just Bainbain-style rants from gun grabbers and halfhearted defenses of the 2A from DU's small cadre of gun owners.

"Why I love my Job" or "Gun guys CAN be liberals."
I am the operation manager of a local gun store/ Rifle range.

I was chatting up a (rather creepy) customer about the range, it's costs, when he could shoot, what he could shoot, etc., when he shifted the conversation suddenly to the local CCW (conceal carry law). He said he had heard it was difficult to get a CCW here and asked my opinion.

My response was that I felt the state was doing THEIR job by taking the full 30 days to inquire with local law enforcement as well as asking follow-up questions to assure themselves that you are telling the truth. I told him, so long as he has a valid reason for his CCW, and that he answers all solicited questions promptly, there should be no problem at all.

He responded, quite matter of factly, that he has NO reason, other than it is his 2nd amendment right, to get his CCW.

Overhearing the conversation is salesperson #1, a Capitol Police officer. "No, it is NOT your 2nd amendment right to a CCW." He points out.

"But the 2nd amendment clearly state...", the customer protests and is immediately interrupted by salesperson #2, a lawyer. "So, you know the law, eh...? Why don't you tell us what the second amendment states." (Umm, wasn't that what he was doing before the "lawyer" interrupted him?)

Customer mutters something under his breath, and wanders off to look at targets.

Salesperson #1, returns to working with a customer filling out his paper work for a handgun purchase. The customer picks up his firearm, shows it to his friend who just entered the store and shouts, "Look! A Trayvon Special!"

Salesperson #1 takes the handgun away, tears up the paperwork and tells him plainly that he cannot purchase a firearm in this store.

I love my job.

A cop and a lawyer moonlighting in a gun shop, how convenient. An extra half-bong for making the antagonist wander off muttering.  :whatever:

2. You are clearly part of the problem.

You're enabling the flow of guns into the hands of the public.

Cute story notwithstanding.

3. Sweet. You have lawyers and leo's working in guns stores.

From you avatar, I would guess you are in MA. I thought they had 40 days to make a decision on your permit.

PM me your store/range if you don't mind - if you are in MA that is. I live in MA and have been trying to find a liberal leaning gun shop/range/club. They all seem to land somewhere on the continuum of rwers.

Something tells me the lizard isn't buying the BS either.

That was just painful to read. When even a DUmmie won't believe your story you've gone too far.

I wonder if DUmmy loudly was as concerned when a.g. holder enabled the flow of guns into the hands of known criminals as a result of fast and furious....

MA gun shop?  Yeah, no.

Go up to the gun section of Kittery Trading Post, OTOH...

And memo to DUmmies--there's a very good reason why so many states are "shall issue" states versus the "may issue" state you describe.  I'll leave it to you to figure out why.

This bouncy sounds like someone took a story from DUmmy rsmithnumbers and corrected the comical spelling, fractured grammar, and mangled sentence structure.

It is otherwise as painful to read as an rsmithnumbers special.

NO,NO, Stay out of the Trading Post unless you have found a few thousand dollars on the side walk.

You will exit with a couple of Kayaks, Moose hide jackets and shoes that will last 50 years.   All kinds of cross bows and other archery equipment,   throwing knives perfectly balanced  made by the Indians up North.    Can't forget the wrist rockets and different size ball bearings to play with.

If you fish do not go down stairs, seems like an acre of hand tied fly's, bags of every kind feathers to make your own.    All kind of plastic worms, salt water fishing rods and reels, plan to spend 12 hours just looking around.

Want to buy a gun ?   You have to leave and go to the State line about 5 miles away and pick it up in NH.

A lawyer moonlighting as a salesperson in a gun store.....that's how bad the Obamconomy is. :-)

Forward that to Jay Leno.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Sorry Johnny, were I to open a gun store I would want law students working there, retired police officers, a CYA to keep the business in operation.

People who do seriously profiling of anyone that wants to buy a weapon.  Yes in that business one cannot be too careful.

There is the question about profiling, I find no problem with this as every place I shop that has security  is paying people to profile those they believe may cause a problem.     They also look after the safety of their customers.   Those that come in with obvious health problems, carrying a bottle of oxygen, leg in a cast or neck brace.   Customers have been known to go into a heart attack or act odd due to a problem with Diabetes's.

So I walk into a gun store to buy a gun, the clerk runs my drivers license by the police I pass yet I also keep muttering about that damn neighbor I want to pop.  I would hope the clerk would find an excuse to not sell me a weapon.
