I saw this last week, but ignored it because I thought I'd find something more interesting.

Alas, the past seven days, the primitives have been more boring than usual, so I have to offer this.

There is now an "Adult Novelties" shop in my community.

And I don't know how I feel about that. A while ago, I took a pretty hard line anti-porn stance in a thread here, and a couple of the responses did make me rethink that - it was pointed out to me that it can have its place/role.
 
So, this shop bothers me in the sense it kind of "brings down" the reputation/character of the neighborhood. It's technically not in my community, it's on the other side of the street that serves as the political boundary between two municipalities. I think that it might attract "the wrong crowd".
 
I also think I'm probably wrong about all of that, at least in terms of the customers - sure it's frequented by all of the affluent men, and women, who live here in this "upscale" fantasy land of a suburb, where little is actually "real world". But, probably wrong in general?
 
For the record, I have never been to such an establishment, or an adult club or bar. So, I could be completely wrong.

8. dude, go in and browse it may broaden your horizons.

Sex and all it entails should be embracced and enjoyed it isnot something to be scared of. Hell put an ad up if they have a board get some experiences and have fun. I have an online profile used for trapping and its fun to get emails etc, though if you have a rocking hot profile that in my humble opinion i do you get hundreds and some strange ones to.

9. i've visited both such shops in my city

and you see all sorts of people in them.

i bought a vinyl corset at the adult store in the hamburg airport years ago. i was the only woman in the shop and probably the only one under 45, it was an interesting experience.

10. I have been in many adult shops

From upscale ones in London to the seediest of the seedy in Bum**** PA

The people who go to them are mostly just regular folks

Check it out and see

The two closest to me are really nice places - the atmosphere depends on the store

Personally we got some "adult stores" here. Don't care. Never been in them and don't care who goes in them. To my way of thinking someone must be going in them or they would not be in business.  I really do not care. If there is nothing illegal going on, who am I to say what people do for their jollies? It don't affect me and until it does, then I have no dog in the fight.

We have more then a few around here and most every where I have lived.   

They are the places to go to for gag gifts and Holiday cards one cannot get any place else.

One of my sons is a practical joker I finally got him to stop before he gave me and my Mom a heart attack.

I found an envelope that had on the outside big bright letters that were    Renew Notice for Butt Buddies Magazine.

I brought it home and typed in his address and waited for one of his room mates to collect the mail.

Oh how I wished I could have seen his face when he came home from work to be greeted with that.

Well that is one way to get a Son to visit his mother more often.     He knew darn well I has sent it and came flying in the house to confront me.   Pay Backs are Hell my dear.  Never mess with your Mother child, she just may be crazier then YOU.
