WHAT'S THE CONSERVATIVE POSITION ON ZIMMERMAN? WHAT'S THE LIBERAL POSITION?
The Zimmerman trial gets more play on political talk shows and political forums than any other topic, but why is it even considered to be political?
There was an altercation, someone was shot dead, and there are various accounts, opinions, and speculation about what happened that will be sorted out in a court of law.
Yet some people are saying it's political and that the Republican position is “innocent,†while the Democratic position is “guilty.â€
It seems to me that the conservative position has always been that Zimmerman is innocent and that the liberal position is to let the courts decide.
Which of these positions would the Founding Fathers have taken? “Innocent,†“guilty,†or “let the courts decide?â€
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251315234Seriously, the liberal position is to let the courts decide?

OMG DUmmy you fools convicted Zimmerman since the first time you heard about Saint Skittles.
You are the ones who will possibly riot if the verdict is not what you want it to be.
You are the ones who pushed like hell and forced a prosecution for this.
You are the ones who twisted everything around to paint Zimmerman as a huge racist, and Saint Skittles as nothing but an innocent child.
Conservatives are the ones who for the most part waited for information to come out, and in fact I have said if Zimmerman is guilty of murder he should be convicted. All the evidence so far seems to point out that Trayvon was a thug who was threatening Zimmerman's life. You idiots say if Zimmerman gets off then that makes shooting black kids legal, the truth is if Zimmerman gets convicted then it makes it illegal for creepy ass crackers to defend themselves from sons who look like 0bama.

1. Mishandled from the beginning. eom
Yes it was starting with the editing of the tapes by NBC making it appear that Zimmerman said "He looks black" as if that was his concern. The truth was he said that when asked by the 911 dispatcher what race the kid was. Then 0bama opens his fat mouth and says if he had a son. Then Eric Holder chimed in saying that he may prosecute Zimmerman for civil rights violations. This whole thing stinks to high heaven thanks to all the race baiting from the left.

5. Innocent till proven guilty decided by the courts
is my answer.
From the day it made the national media the two sides took their positions no matter any evidence and haven't swayed one bit.
However I can't agree the liberal side has been let the courts decide, it seem to me they feel he is guilty, I have heard a few who says he committed murder 1 because it was part of a master plan where he went hunting that day and Martin just happened to be the prey which walked across his crosshairs.

9. We should consider laws against vigilantes patrolling the neighborhood with loaded weapons
If the prosecution can't prove its case, Zimmerman will walk, as it should be. But even if he does walk, we have to consider that our current laws allowed Zimmerman to get out of his car and stalk Martin with a loaded weapon. Maybe Zimmerman wanted a confrontation so he could use that weapon and maybe he didn't. But either way, he got a confrontation. That signals to anyone who wants a confrontation that you can get one and get off scott free.
