We need more good manufacturing jobs
« on: July 11, 2013, 02:00:51 PM »
And people need to quit using so much energy and resources.

We need more solar and wind power, and electric cars. And to quit mining for copper and rare earth magnetic minerals.

We need to build more roads and infrastructure. And to protect wild habitats from development.

We need to respect other countries and other cultures. And we need to quit buying stuff made in those other countries.

We need better education. And we need to keep disruptive and violent kids in mainstream classes.

We need more laws. And we need less police and prisons.

Capitalism is based on self-interest and self-esteem; it holds integrity and trustworthiness as cardinal virtues and makes them pay off in the marketplace, thus demanding that men survive by means of virtue, not vices. It is this superlatively moral system that the welfare statists propose to improve upon by means of preventative law, snooping bureaucrats, and the chronic goad of fear.

We need to live more quiet and serene lives and we need more people speaking up.

We need to stop the invasion by the NSA into our private lives and we need the gov't to become more pro-active towards the needs of the people.

We need more laws that will repeal more laws.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

Modern liberalism is relentless hypocrisy.

They want to help the homeless by keeping them drunk and stoned, which is how many of them ended up homeless.

They want to help African Americans by robbing them of the means and incentive to support themselves and their communities through hard work and entrepreneurship.

They proclaim it is moral to respect, even worship, a culture of theft and violence.

It is destructive insanity.

All attempts by libs at votebuying the blacks and other minorities only serve to steal their dignity and self respect.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

There would be more manufacturing jobs, if unions didn't strangle the manufacturers.  :banghead:

A well done post on the leftist cognitive dissidence core. ^5

The left is not hypocritical they just believe that two diametrically opposed ideas are both true. The are clinically insane, suffering from a schizoid disorder.

This was my favorite:

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Whaddya mean? You can't build wind turbines out of hemp?

BTW: You know, they HEART science. Except the parts of science that has nothing to do with climate change or evolution. And they are ALL FOR more women pursuing math and science degrees. I mean, OTHER women pursing math and science degrees. Every Women's Studies major agrees on that point.
