without the risk of being banned for simply having difference in opinion? I often time stumble across the most ridiculous posts that originate from freerepublic, but I know posting rebuttals to some of the shit they say will simply result in a ban (been there, done that)

I remember way back when those idiots at protest warrior had an open forum that attracted a wide range of posters, and they didn't restrict it to only like minded people. It had more of an immature environment, but there were occasional debates/discussions that worked well. I would like to find something like that, but without the bad parts.

Don't be a royal obnoxious a$$.
Don't lie.
Avoid vulgar language as much as possible.
Don't multi-post obnoxious screeds on every thread that is available.
Understand that you will get whacked on, and accept it.
