"Poor guy was defending himself"

Poor guy, you mean Zimmerman?

Yeah, he doesn't deserve this.......

(I cut him off)

"If you knew anything except what you heard from Fox, you'd know that, in spite of the cops TELLING HIM not to pursue the kid eating Skittles, Zimmerman did and caused the confrontation that led to him shooting Travon Martin. Next time you spew shit, have your facts right not Fox wrong". (more or less)

Blank stare and no response.

I walked away from his desk with his co-workers in silence, avoiding the eyes of the resident Liberal. (me)

Douche bag

Wow, ol DB sure told him!

This looks interesting but I can't grab anymore at present.

Yesterday Beckel floated the trial ballon that Trayvon was defending himself from Zimmerman.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

If all I had listened to about this story was what CNN International was putting out when I first heard about this whole incident...I'd sound as stupid and retarded at the Mentally Challenged primitive.

Thankfully I'm not as incurious as he is and did some research on my own.

Dain is all talk. If he was as tough as he'd like to make himself out to be, he would have heeded the calls to reveal his name, address, and other personal information so that others could confront him in person. Has he? No. Because he's all talk.

"in spite of the cops TELLING HIM not to pursue the kid eating Skittles,"
That's NOT what they told him, as I recall. They basically said, "It's unnecessary for you to follow him," not "Stop following him right now!"

Besides, Moviebuff, it was the dispatcher who said "we don't need you to do that."

I waded through all the bullshit to get to the last two posts, which don't end well for Dain.

38. This confrontation was at work?

Funny how yesterday I was talking about how many jobs I am hiring for but I'm having a tough time finding people that WOULDN'T create a hostile work environment or are just plain strange.

Nothing against strange people, it's just that I like to avoid having to escort people out of the building for blatant disrespect of others personal space and making work quite uncomfortable for many.

There's a time and place for everything, including divisive politics and name calling.

42. Agreed...

If it were my employee he would be counseled or canned for being disruptive and difficult to work with.

That wasn't a cop, it was a 911 dispatcher.

he is such a miserable creature, but I think DB stole this from "reflection":

Yesterday
 reflection (5,040 posts)

Stupid ass co-worker just yelled down the hall
"WE SHOULD HAVE A VERDICT IN THE TRAYVON TRIAL THIS WEEK" and then snickered.

I yelled back "TRAYVON WAS ALREADY SENTENCED TO DEATH. NOT SURE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. GET TO WORK" and a couple of nervous laughs floated down the hall.

silence, you could almost hear the gears grinding in his head. Then:

"YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT"

I yelled back "WHAT YOU JUST SAID REVEALS A LOT ABOUT YOU. NOW LET'S GET TO WORK BEFORE WE ALL GET FIRED"

silence.

This dude is going to be ecstatic if Zimmerman walks. It'll be like he got a free ice cream cone or something. Jackass.

they are just doing Obama's bidding again.

18. where did YOU hear that?

Because that is not known at all.

Zimmerman followed the kid, BEFORE he was told "we don't need you to" (which is not nearly as strong as being told NOT to btw)

and how do you know Zimmerman kept following and that he CAUSED the confrontation.

You don't, but you are quite sure of yourself and angry towards people who do not agree with you.

Did I say people? I meant douchebags.

They aren't really people, are they. Just douchebags. Fox brainwashed douchebags.

and for what it is worth - I don't even have cable TV.

40. your lack of concern is noted

You are not concerned about your own lack of facts, even while you call HIM a "factless slob". Since you never gave him a chance to say much of anything, how do you know he was not going to present any facts?

Your own rant includes one significant untruth and a whole bunch of conjecture.

49. So for the sake of arguing, you'll side with the Puke at my work SIMPLY

becuse my 'facts' weren't factual enough for you, in spite of the fact he had NO intelligent knowledge of the case.

Is there any chance Dain is in a conversation with his own sock puppet ?

Poor DUmbass. The "facts" of the trial supersede yours.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Which one of the DUmmies is it that huffs paint?
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

There are many in there that mention actual facts and testimony in regards to the case.
Poor dain and a few lick-spittles do their best to denigrate them.
A by-line from *jugs*, would really be fun.
I'm surprised she hasn't jumped into this one.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
