I just watched Only In America on History Channel, with Larry the Cable Guy.
They were visiting a town in North Dakota, and what I saw was amazing. They are drilling for oil, and the economy is booming like mad. The people who work for the evil oil companies were bragging about making $30k a month.
They also visited a few of the local businesses and I saw how well they were doing as a result of the oil boom. Jobs are so plenty there that the local cafe had to close at 3pm simply because there aren't enough folks to work there to stay open late. Everyone he talked to mentioned that they were hiring.
This was way cool and sad at the same time. Because of fools like our preezy who are doing their best to destroy this country we are not seeing this all across the country. I honestly believe if more states opened drilling that we could have a strong economy. Instead no one wants to allow drilling and the EPA is doing their best to stop any more. If every state if not even just most states did this, we wouldn't need food stamps and welfare, except for the DUmmies who are allergic to an honest day's work.
Another interesting thing was Larry asked how many states have people working up there and the lady told him every state in the union, and not a single person from DC. I thought that was pretty telling since DC is full of 0bamaphone people.
North Dakota is what this whole country could be like if only we could purge the moonbats from government and let capitalism work like it's supposed too.
