I got a job!

Well it took 22 months and ten days, two strategic emails BUT - THE LONGEST weekend of my life is over. Yes folks I have a JOB. It is at 360 Mediawatch a media monitoring company - I'm going to be the utility man - some video editing, program logging, and later on probably some spreadsheet work. Its provisional - when I get up to speed and if I don't screw anything up - which I WON'T - I'm a go. In the words of President Bartlett - Okay what's next!

I can't imagine being out of work for 22 months. Then again I would take whatever I could to at least have some money coming in, I'm crazy like that.
I am amused that he mentions 2 whole emails, like it was some kind of major chore or something.

8. Congrats on your job! May it lead to something better and permanent!

Don't bet on it, he has 2 things against him, 1:He's a DUmmy which means he will either come up hot on the piss test or do something stupid at work and get fired. 2:The new 0bama economy does not offer many full time permanent jobs.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Are those "business" days?   :lmao:

If I were that person I probably would not have mentioned 360 media watch on DU.

I think that is going to be a problem for them going forward.

It sounds like he'll be doing some serious scanner duty.

I wonder if this outfit pays better than Crazy Miriam.

I agree.

The unclad Johnson DUmmy is going to work for a company that gathers and provides business intel by monitoring websites, and is talking about it on a partisan website.

I won't be surprised to read this DUmmy's weeping and wailing about getting fired during his probationary period.

 :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

I also won't be surprised if his fellow DUmmies turn on him for becoming a tool of the corporatist oppressors.

I see great things in the unclad Johnson DUmmy's future!

Isn't unemployment 99 weeks?  Wouldn't 22 months and 10 days work out to roughly 95 1/2 weeks?

May have to keep an eye on ole Johnny Boy.  You may read about him within a couple of months on how everybody's picking on him, making him actually work to get paid, you know the usual DUmmie complaints about work.  Should be interesting.
