poll: did you remember the late red round one?
« on: July 07, 2013, 06:42:40 PM »
Did anyone besides franksolich remember to remember the late red round one, who passed from this Mortal Coil exactly eight years ago today?--in fact, exactly eight years to the same hour I'm posting this poll.

I also rememembered that hundreds of primitives swore the evening of July 7, 2005, that the late red round one was engraved in their hearts, minds, and souls forever; that they'd never forget him; that they'd think about him every day for the rest of their lives.

Well, "forever" to the primitives must mean three years, because beginning in 2008, and every year since then, franksolich has had to remind the primitives to remember.....and thus far they haven't yet this dolorous anniversary.

Frank, I hadn't until your poll prompted me.

I do vaguely remember a then prominent primitive threatened to have ninjas, lawyers, or something like that find the person that did in AS.

I wonder what ever became of that?

I don't remember the date but I did follow the kerbunkle... kerfunkle?...kerflunkle?... what the hell did nadine call it?... as it unfolded at CU.  I was in a boring training class that week and the guy I was sitting next to was laughing his ass off as we went thru the threads.

That was good fun.   :cheersmate: :cheersmate:

It's the eighth anniversary of the sodomite's early, timely, and richly deserved demise.

One wonders how many more of these happy occasions will pass before coach spills the beans on how he pulled it off.

I think poor addled DUmmy grasswipe Judy Smith is still working on the cold case, so details may yet come to light from her.

Well, to think that exactly eight years ago, at this very same hour, with the Leona Helmsley of DUmmieland, the "flyarm" primitive, having just broke the news--the cousin was probably busy with map duty, and didn't hear it until later--Skins's island was jampacked with primitives getting in their remembrances of the late red round one.

A mere eight years, not even a decade, and they've forgotten him.

Only we remember.

Apparently so.    :bitchslap:

Of course, granted, poor stupid Beth, the mastermind of the scamdal, finally got tired of making an ass of herself, and left Skins's island ten months ago.

And then Ugly, the defrocked warped primitive "Warpy", one of her good friends and one of the leading acolytes of the late red round one, the primitive woman bothered by cold weather, the "TroubleInWinter" primitive, died about a year ago, from terminal obesity.

IIRC the way frank came to CU and was beacuse I he and I were cross posting info from theer to FR and back.

You missed the fun of the posting of the alleged check that wasn't...WillPitt actually posting at CU trying to defend Andy and some of the so called Conservatives on that board trying to tsk tsk us for our involvement in posting about the scam that was underway at DU.

It was a wild time.

I'm still waiting for the Ninja lawyers to come knocking at my door from all of that.

They probably already have, Dragoon--that's why they're 'ninja lawyers.' :whistling: O-)

(ETA:  They probably decided that Dragoons, especially the War Eagle kind, aren't to be trifled with.)

I no longer care anymore about the late, red round one. He is doomed to be nothing more than a historical footnote, if that. So, no - I didn't remember and I really don't care.

Statute of limitations has likely expired for something like that. I remember it. What a mess. I am surprised something like this has not happened again. Not likely with a fractured DU.

I wonder who those faux conservatives at CU at the time.
