I would like to ask the lurking Dummies to go to the link below and defend these stories.

And before you say that the link is to rightwing World Net Daily, this article essentially just collects news stories from various news organizations.

Milwaukee was mentioned in the article. I work on the North side of Milwaukee. When I walk during my lunch break I always carry my little .25 ACP. After reading the story I am thinking I need to carry my .38 or the .45 instead.

No, actually.

Jim Crowe laws are just another form of law that allows what we modernly refer to as Balkanization.

We can't complain about Mexicans coming here and setting-up mini-Mexicos here  they self-segregate and refuse to learn English and then applaud Jim Crowe.

It's the same damn thing.

We can't complain about different rules for Paula Deen and Jeremiah Wright and then make different rules for Jeremiah Wright and Paula Deen.

It's stupid, wrong, and ultimately self-destructive.

We have a common core of American values that can embrace the various cultures that are found here.

Until we start acting like the ideal of America we will never have America in practical terms.

And I know you want that as much as I do.
