Community Anxious After 37 People Shot In One Week
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Thirty-seven people have been shot in Baltimore City in just one week–15 of them killed. Now police are making moves to take back the streets.

Balloons and melted candles–all left behind after a man was gunned down on Bennett Place. Just down the street, police make their presence known.

Nearly triple the number of officers are deployed in hot spots this weekend. State and transit police, as well as the sheriff’s office, will also patrol city streets.

Friday night on North Avenue, it was neighbors hitting the streets.

“We’re not going to let it continue where grandmas can’t sit on their corner. It’s not okay with me that my child can walk to the street and play and the children in these neighborhoods have to fear bullets,” said Jasina Wise, Walking for Peace.

1. Democrat controlled for decades.
2. Strong gun control.
3. Predominately black population.
4. Lots of government sugar.

DUmmies, I live in Las Vegas where it seems every other person you talk to owns a gun or seven... we don't have this problem here.  We don't have nearly 40 people being shot in one week.  Unless 40 people decided to rob 40 houses in one week.  We do have shootings here, but they tend to be gang/drug related.  Those guns were more than likely not registered.

I've been to Baltimore a few times, but since then, I watched the entire TV series "The Wire".  No freaking desire to ever go back there.

First we have to question why the government is sending mega amounts of weapons and ammo free to known drug Cartels in Mexico that their government itself cannot stop the carnage to it's own people.

Did someone lose track of Zimmermen for a week? Has that creepy ass cracker been busy? Or was it some of their own innocent children that committed these shootings/murders?

Still not as important and Earth-shaking as one Hispanic(White Hispanic!) killing one Black(Skittles 'n' Iced Tea!) in Sanford, Florida. Hispanic(White Hispanic!) neighborhood watch members are the existential threat to Blacks. Easily worth a year and a half's worth of single-minded outrage amongst Liberals.
