Visiting Texas
« on: June 15, 2008, 05:45:07 PM »
I will be in McKinney and the surrounding areas next month from the 13th to the 18th so if there is anyone from there (or anywhere else) that wants to meet up for a get together let me know. :)

I will be thousands of miles away.  :bawl:

I'll call my brother.  He lives in McKinney.  If I can find his number.

My sister lives about 20 minutes from McKinney, but it's a ten hour drive for me and i don't really feel like making an excuse to visit her.  Dang.

You haven't met my sister.  If she doesn't start an argument or a fight within ten minutes of arriving somewhere, her life isn't complete.

Well crap. I used to live in North Texas. Unfortunately, there's no chance of getting back any time soon. Plus, it's a really, really long drive. Maybe next time!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. I might be able to wrangle my way down there.  I'm always up for a weekend vacation.  Anything to get out of town for a while.
