Horseshit.  Food Network let Robert Irvine go a couple years ago because they found out he lied about his credentials.  They beat their chests about being intolerant towards fraudsters or some such.  About a year later, he was back.  If Paula Deen plays her cards right, she can make a comeback.

Personally, I hope she's done after her fawning over Jimmy Carter when she had him on her show and saying he was the best president ever.  Found out this morning she's an Obama supporter.

What in heck is she apologising for ????--------Is she anything like the high school Spanish teacher fired for teaching her students the names of colors and one student complained she called the English black, negro in Spanish ?

Damn if I hear a good Polish joke, I have no problem repeating it to my Polish friends. 

This crap is getting out of hand, I was raised with a sense of humor, did not bother me to hear jokes about the French, all so often there was a grain of truth in them.

So she used the N word, big frigging deal, I have been called a Honkey and Cracker a Frog but as far as I know there is no way I have heard that the H word, the C word or F word is out of bounds.   

Seems like some people are protected class under the PC of the day.     I wonder if racial charges were brought up against the woman that sicked  her pit bulls on the white reporter came out with a baseball bat and yelled for her to get her white ass off her property ?

This is total bull, I objected when the classics were censured for language for Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.  Darn how are children to learn of the past as it WAS when PC comes in and  changes the wording to that of today's world ?

There is no way any class of people can speak a word and all others can't.

Well, speaking for myself, I'm a conservative but I'll be damned if I'm showing any sort of outrage at this development. If I'd put a word on it, I'd say it's "bemused indifference."

I personally do not give one-half a shit what happens to Paula Deen.

If her "career" tanks because she uttered the "n" word in a stupid fashion (and face it -- once you reach "celebrity" status, every thought, word and deed that you indulge yourself in will be dissected, analyzed, criticized, and optimized to the nth degree), she deserves to be once again back there starting off her recipes with a stick of butter.
