"Predictible self delete" ? I have the option to erase my posts, its my choice. You can't tell other DUers how they can run their DU life, live your own and stop attacking others. Many do actually see what youre doing.

dorkangelnumbers does realize that when a post is deleted from DU, it doesn't actually get 'deleted' it just stops being publicly accessible, right ?

Let's be honest, if you want something to be private, don't post it on the internet, period.  Tech savvy people can find most things that have been "deleted" from the internet.

Hold on here Johnny, Pole dancing is a new sport.   We watched a program of a contest for pole dancers both men and woman and these people are athletes big time.

Never saw anything like it, the things these people could do 20 feet above the floor.  Some day this sport will be in the Olympics as the body strength and movement are amazing.

No, a self delete makes it really gone to the viewing public - members (paying and non) and casual lurkers as well.  They may be archived somewhere in their machinery, but they are gone.  If an OP is self deleted, there can be no more responses in that thread.

A familiar pattern shows itself in this thread.  Dorkangel is locked out with a hidden post.

Dorkangel posts a question in the Ask the Administrators section (but the questions are hidden until they get answered.)

Dorkangel self deletes the question before it gets answered.

Dorkangel self deletes a lot of her responses in the thread (this step often precedes one or both of the other steps.  I don't know if a response can be self deleted after a post is hidden, but I think the OP can be.)

We should see a good bye post shortly, and then a return within 23 hours.
