My friend just lost her food stamps.

She is 67. She gets $800 a month from SS. She works part time for $8 a hour. I think she takes home about $120 a week.
 
She used her food stamps to eat.

She makes too much money. So now she has to find someplace else to cut back. I think her rent is about $600 a month. She might be able to find a cheaper apartment somewhere but it would be a dump.
 
Life can get really tricky as you get older.

Hmmm... then why should she work? That is the problem I have with welfare, Assuming this is true... which I doubt.

Look Kitty, I know guys who have lost arms and legs.  They get a check from the government, and it was earned.  They also work at whatever job they can being as productive as they can, some of them do very well.  I know a couple of people that have an extra chromosome, they work hard and are happy to be alive.  I know a couple of people that have real mental disabilities, they work at a charity and do everything they can to earn at least some of their keep.

What anyone is telling you is to stop your life long pity party, accept responsibility for your self and your actions, and quit asking others, many of whom have worse problems than you, to subsidize your continued existince.

Also, while your at it, quit talking smack about your family on the internet.  If I knew who they were and where they were at, I would give them a transcript of what you said just so they would no longer tolerate their bitch of a sister/daughter.

Vagabond... I suspect mommy makes excuses for her and takes care of her. Something tells me mommy is just wondering what the hell went wrong with the pregnancy and probably blames herself for how her feline offspring is. Now when momma dies... the sibs may not be so understanding. The Kitty may have a rude awakening coming.   :cheersmate:

I tend to be pretty civil but with everything we know about you 798 bucks a month against a .22 caliber lobotomy for a few cents loses in a cost/benefits analyses.

My sister might be heading in the same direction. She poormouths quite often, but when I open her refrigerator I always see beer, and I hardly ever see her without a cigarette. Empty delivery pizza boxes frequent her decor. I've never asked her political affiliation mostly because I suspect and dread the answer.
