Sen. Lindsey Graham ‘glad’ NSA secretly spying on Americans
1:09 PM 06/06/2013

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Verizon customer, said during a Thursday morning appearance on Fox and Friends that he was “glad” the NSA was conducting domestic surveillance operations.

The Guardian revealed Wednesday evening that Verizon as being forced via secret court order to silently hand over to the NSA the phone records of millions of Americans inside of the U.S.

Administration talking points assembled last night in response to The Guardian article defended the tactic as “a critical tool in protecting the United States from terrorist threats to the United States.”

The NSA’s secret domestic phone surveillance was revealed in 2005 to have started under George W. Bush administration as a response to 9/11.

Someone in SC needs to run against that assclown and get him tossed in the primary.

I find it ironic and quite frustrating that the government feel it is perfectly ok to find out everything they want to know about me by spying on me, yet refuse to ask illegal aliens about their immigration status because they don't want to offend them.

I wonder how he wins elections. Just as bad as John Boehner or Chris Christie.

At one time I was convinced that Lindsey was a rock ribbed conservative. That must have been before the Senate slapped down the impeachment process of WJC. As I recall Lindsey was one of the managers who presented the impeachment case to the senate.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

And blammo still won't release any of his records. We need those far more than he needs ours.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I'll be glad when he loses in the primary.

Doing all I can......need Jim DeMint to recommend someone like himself for the job.

So true Linda but then what fun would life be if no one had anything to hide from others. ??

If every word or deed by someone were to be replayed on film for them, I wonder just what anyone would do watching all their dirty little secrets come to face them.

Everyone has Something in their past they regret doing and sometimes if really bad they blank it out. This is a way to stay sane in an insane world.

We all make mistakes, slip fumble and fall from time to time, some times it is the victim that feels guilty for being messed with.

These are the very times it is best for us to either go into therapy or blank it out and go on with life much wiser and more careful.

Privacy is the major reason we cannot read each others minds, to be able to do so would cause us to all go on a killing spree with an AX.

Once the Federal Government gets all this information it will just be a matter of time before local police can tap into it.   As it is now when someone is arrested if they have family and friends up to no good they  will also be investigated.

Not much the government now can not find out about you, where you live, what kind of cars you drive and the plate no.   Where you work, how much you make, any and all activity on credit cards, bank records and as has been used to track a cell phone call and where the person using your phone was at  the time of the call and where to, the person called, and all their information.  OH, I forgot, if you have less then $12 000 to go on a mortgage, the lender will if over $10,000 notify someone in government that you paid by cash or check.

A few years ago when we bought our Jet Ski's the dealership dropped the selling price to get it under the $10,000 mark as so not to have to report the transaction.

Many a drug dealer or grower or maker has been caught when public works reported on a sudden jump in electric or city water usage.

One cannot even go shopping for food or clothing at Walmart using a check or credit card that keeps track of purchases and money spent.     Someone knows what our diet is and how often we buy toilet paper, unless we pay in cash.

Why all this stuff now telling us about the snoops when we know all this, about private enterprise snooping on us ??

Early 80's a song came out, very popular and a bit of for telling in a macabre way called " I'll be watching you"     Every step you take, every move you make I'll be watching you.

Obama's Snooping Excludes Mosques, Missed Boston Bombers

 Posted 06/12/2013 06:34 PM ET

Homeland Insecurity: The White House assures that tracking our every phone call and keystroke is to stop terrorists, and yet it won't snoop in mosques, where the terrorists are.

That's right, the government's sweeping surveillance of our most private communications excludes the jihad factories where homegrown terrorists are radicalized.

Since October 2011, mosques have been off-limits to FBI agents. No more surveillance or undercover string operations without high-level approval from a special oversight body at the Justice Department dubbed the Sensitive Operations Review Committee.

Who makes up this body, and how do they decide requests? Nobody knows; the names of the chairman, members and staff are kept secret.

We do know the panel was set up under pressure from Islamist groups who complained about FBI stings at mosques. Just months before the panel's formation, the Council on American-Islamic Relations teamed up with the ACLU to sue the FBI for allegedly violating the civil rights of Muslims in Los Angeles by hiring an undercover agent to infiltrate and monitor mosques there.

Before mosques were excluded from the otherwise wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, the FBI launched dozens of successful sting operations against homegrown jihadists — inside mosques — and disrupted dozens of plots against the homeland.

If only they were allowed to continue, perhaps the many victims of the Boston Marathon bombings would not have lost their lives and limbs. The FBI never canvassed Boston mosques until four days after the April 15 attacks, and it did not check out the radical Boston mosque where the Muslim bombers worshipped.

The bureau didn't even contact mosque leaders for help in identifying their images after those images were captured on closed-circuit TV cameras and cellphones.

One of the Muslim bombers made extremist outbursts during worship, yet because the mosque wasn't monitored, red flags didn't go off inside the FBI about his increasing radicalization before the attacks.

This is particularly disturbing in light of recent independent surveys of American mosques, which reveal some 80% of them preach violent jihad or distribute violent literature to worshippers.

along the lines of the harassment elderly grandmothers get at the airport while young muslim men causing problems on the flight are left alone for fear of offending them...

If the Boston bombing had happened during the Bush administration, Bush would have been crucified. Many have already said this, but I couldn't resist saying it again. I'm just stupefied to see owebuma getting a complete pass for Americans dying from a terrorist attack on American soil.

If you believe for one minute the American intelligence community is not hot and heavy infiltrating the Mosques and the Muslim community, time to look at the other side.

There are other agency's in the government besides the FBI and the CIA, agency's that have no name and are not on record.

I do believe the FBI knew all about these brothers, hadn't the Russians asked questions ?     What to do when informants warned them about their plans, sit back and arrest them before they could carry out their dirty deed or allow them to carry it out with the loss of life and limb to a couple dozen people.

There are some in the country that believe the loss of thousands of lives in order to save millions of lives is acceptable.

There is no way the Muslims can move 2 feet without someone knowing it, there are traitors within the ranks of the Muslim world.      They are the MINO    Muslim in name only, and will for the Money betray their own grandmother.

We pay little attention to the terrorists that are caught before they can pull off an attack, we only get a heads up when their plans work.-------How do they work----they are allowed to do so in order to call attention to their threat.

Having him, McCain, and Levin providing the 'adult supervision' to keep domestic intelligence operations within Constitutional bounds is like letting a gang of convicted paedophiles run a summer camp.
