Regardless of what clearance you have, it's still need to know.  Also you don't want to access classified material on a non classified system.  They are only looking out for them.

It looks like you're missing the point of the order and what CH is saying. They're not being forbidden from viewing the news reports on the incident, they're being told that the DOCUMENTS which were leaked are still classified, and they in all likelihood aren't cleared/don't have the need to know necessary to view those documents, even though some have been made public, and that they can and most likely will be prosecuted for security violations if they happen to make an effort to view the leaked documents.
