Last Day of School.. when can I start drinking??

The kids got out early today at 11:30.. thus far I have made

individual pizzas for five girls (had to borrow a neighbors mini van just to pick them up)
homemade pudding

and they are now decorating a furniture box that arrived last night. my son in law to be fashioned a house out of it... sleeps 1, possibly two.

they are entertained and good Lord almighty, I need a drink.

but i am out.. didnt anticipate this deep need for a narcotic in the middle of the day..  :bawl:

I am not an expert, but I seem to remember a comprehensive study that found 8am is the proper time for summer vacation mom syndrome drinking to begin.

For those of us who don't like "fruity foo-foo" metrosexual drinks, might I instead suggest:



It's only 7 AM now, so it's a bit early yet, but rest assured, once the lawn is mowed, other yardwork done, dog washed, and laundry started, I'll be on the back porch relaxing with one or four of these babies...

first official day of summer here ... gorgeous sun! WOOHOO... cant believe it.

took the kiddo and dog to the park, sleeveless shirts and shorts and a bird pooped on the kiddo ..  :lmao:

she is already complaining about being bored. but, in her defense, all the public school kids are still in class this week and we are planning her first trip to grandma's at the beach for tomorrow.

80 degrees in canada today...  :cheersmate:
