Bumper sticker seen this morning: "I regret my abortion."

I was just speechless. She also had some 'pro-life' stuff on her car (GA tag, etc.) but his one just blew me away.

The typical DUmmy responses to this thread, but I had to pull one response in particular:

Zoeisright (7,900 posts)
13. Yeah, I'll bet.

that that woman is lying through her teeth.

Everyone I know who has had an abortion has been completely relieved. And no way anyone who has had an abortion would put a bumper sticker like this on her car.

Clearly this woman should have an IRS rectal exam and be forced to remove such an offensive sticker.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I have a bit of news for Zoeisright. My wife had an abortion when she was in her teens and considers it the worst mistake of her entire life. She is not alone.

I don't think I know of any woman who hasn't regretted the decision but I think for some, it comes way later

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

This is probably true considering the class of trash they hang with.

Yah right, even the kids know abortion is wrong.    My son told me one of the Babes at school, AAA+ student cheerleader and Honor Society  when Graduation came about from high school, her class gift was a cork screw wine opener.

If one is not the father of an aborted baby for some reason the other males that had no chance of fathering a dead baby were worse critics of the girl then the female students were.

The primitives are all for free speech until someone says something they dislike, don't they ? I feel that this bumper sticker may be particularly poignant, since it will give pause to anyone who reads it - especially someone who had chosen to terminate a pregnancy.

No big deal. Everyone here was new at one time or another.
Well, maybe except for Franksolich. He was on CC before Algore invented the internet.  :-)
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Or worse in the monsters of the DUmp thinking, considering one.

Exactly.

They're also pro-choice just as long as that choice is the one to kill a child...

Every abortion has at least two victims: the child and the mother both suffer the consequences of the irreversible choice.
