The rapes...drugs...prostitution...unsanitary living conditions and the degenerates that were hiding in there...nah...can't imagine why normal people would want OWS gone.

 :whatever:

Oh I don't think EVERYONE that shows up for a protest agrees with it.

I am not Normal People I guess, anytime there is a big protest be it a Naked bike ride to protest the cost of tea in Vermont, it is interesting to watch the loonies do their stuff.  Gay parades are a hoot if one does not run into a relative marching.

Yes I did become interested in the 70's with the anti war marches in SF.   Would take a picknick lunch to a hill to watch the hippies and police tangle.  Just once when the wind shifted and all the pepper spray came in my direction did I wonder what the heck I was doing there.

I did drive to a site in Napa when all that free food was given as a ransom for Patty Hearst.  All the big 18 wheelers loaded with food that the people receiving it were selling in the parking lot for $5.00 a bag to the White and Latino on lookers.  A good deal for the onlookers, the poor got money for a nickel bag and the buyers had a weeks free grocery's.

I became addicted to watching all the foolishness of others in California.   To this day on a limited budget these protests over most anything is just about the only free entertainment I can get.

This is like free admittance to a Zoo, all these exotic humans, reminds me of the old carnival freak shows that displayed deformed humans.

I say bring it on, especially in the summer when TV just has re runs and one gets tired of the beach.

I for one don't want "OWS gone". They do a FINE job of showing us "1%ers" what they really want.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Yep, the occupoopers went Detroit faster than democrats and unions.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
