TREASON. I think the GOP'ers relentlessly persecuting Obama are now guilty of it.
I posted this elsewhere here - but thought it might be worth its own thread. It was a response to rhett o rick who wondered if jonathan karl and his ilk might be guilty of sedition in cooked and concocted "news" coverage that passed off GOP-doctored talking points as the real thing from the White House. I think it smacks of flat-out TREASON. And I think we oughta start a drumbeat about it. Hit these bastards back HARDER than they hit us.

Bill Maher broached the subject last week with Michael Moore - wondering aloud whether all this obstruction was tantamount to treason.
Well, I think he makes a GREAT point, and WE ought to be repeating that meme and starting to bring it to life.
Consider:
At this moment, we still are a nation AT WAR. We presently have thousands of Americans IN HARM'S WAY, IN ACTIVE COMBAT, IN LIVE HOT ZONES. FACING ARMED AND RELENTLESS AND WELL-ARMED ENEMIES. RIGHT NOW. At this very instant. Afghanistan mainly. But ANYWHERE in the frickin' Middle East, their lives are literally on the line.
Don't you DARE use my son you ****ing useless piece of shit! You don't ever even think about him or anyone else in the military unless you're criticizing them, calling them names, talking about how stupid they are or USING THEM AS A ****ING PROP as you are now. You've LOST the right to use them. Remember YOUR rule: You can't talk about something if you haven't been there. And you haven't! Not one of you EVER had to hear a report on the news that there'd been a suicide bombing or battle or whatever, in the same area where your son or husband or grandson, daughter, etc. are and not been able to sleep until you heard from them. Not one of you EVER got that knock on the door and had to hear the news that your loved one had died.
You constantly tear down their values, their families, their beliefs. Your side does everything they can to prevent their votes from being counted. And while they ARE "in harms way" (if they all died tomorrow from some huge explosion half of you wouldn't care and the other half would say they deserved it) YOUR boy king is denying their families the right to participate in the political process. They're being intimidated by the IRS, asked the content of their prayers, filling out forms that similar groups on the left never had to do! Why shouldn't pro abortion groups have to undergo the same scrutiny as pro life groups? IT'S THE SAME ****ING ISSUE, you pigs. How about groups formed to fight citizens united or to push single payer healthcare. Citizens United is the "law of the land", as is 0bamacare (which is NOT single payer). How about groups on the left that protest ANY law you don't like? Isn't that the same thing as the people on the right are doing? Why are their rights not as valuable as yours?
And the fact is, only an idiot can't see how the talking points have changed (the drip, drip, drip of the truth they can no longer hide), daily, about the IRS scandal. The woman who was head of the IRS at the time, the one who's been given HUGE bonuses every year, and now been promoted to head up the division to enforce 0bamacare...she's going to plead the 5th. Now why would she do that if she didn't have something (criminal) to hide?
And then, your ****ing boy king is bugging reporters, taking their phone messages & conversations, effectively preventing them from protecting their sources. What if the Bush administration had done this to journalists during the Valerie Plame non scandal? You would have been throwing tantrums and screaming for impeachment. But it's okay for the justice departemtn to do this because it's 0bama's, right? Evidently, they can't be held responsible for anything. Doing so would admit how twisted & evil they are and how ****ing stupid YOU are.
And then there's Benghazi! You'll never admit it to yourselves because you can't ever face the truth. It's like the saying, "If you want to piss off a conservative, lie to them. If you want to piss off a liberal, tell them the truth". You've seen the emails, you've seen how the talking points changed EVEN WHEN THE ADMINISTRATION NEW THE TRUTH! You've heard the whistleblowers, who risked everything, some who've already lost a lot, some believe the exact things you believe, donated to 0bama and other democrats who've been brave enough to come forward to tell the truth. And others are and will come forward. You know Stevens practically begged for more security. Not only was it denied, put a portion of the few he did have were removed. Even IF it was a CIA gun running operation, it was still one put in place by YOUR president. You've heard enough evidence to know those 4 men were left there to die. These whistleblowers tell similar stories from the perspective of where they were. A Navy admiral lost his command because he wanted to help, despite the stand down order. We know there were special forces, jets, ships could've gotten there in time. You know the lame excuse of "they couldn't get there in time" is bogus because during a situation like that NO ONE knows how long it's going to continue. A competent, caring CinC would've given orders to send help, NOT stand down. And he certainly wouldn't have gone to bed, NEVER ONCE CHEKCING TO SEE HOW THINGS WERE GOING. Instead, he was getting a good night's sleep so he could jet off on Air Force One (at OUR expense) to a fund raiser with JayZ and Beyonce. You know Panetta's lame ****ing excuse that "you don't send troops into a situation where you don't know the situation" is bullshit! That's exactly the kind of situation they train for.
And you know YOUR president and Hillary stood surrounded by the coffins of those 4 dead Americans and their families and blamed a video that he KNEW wasn't to blame. Remember, according to HIM he knew it was a terrorist attack right away. He & Hillary looked those parents, surrounded by the coffins of their sons, in the eye and swore they'd get the guy who made the video and put him in jail. Considering the fact that they KNEW (remember, their words) it was a PLANNED terror attack that had not a damn thing to do with a video, they deliberately LIED to those parents TO THEIR FACE! And now, since you can't defend him, you're crying treason because your precious boy king is being pushed in a corner (well he put himself there by HIS actions). You cry "RACISM" because you can't justify any of this White House's actions.
I don't give a flying rat's ass if you refuse to see the truth. I don't give a damn if the only way you can cope is to lie to yourselves and blame ANYONE else, espcially those trying to get answers for the parents who NEED closure. But don't you FOR ONE ****ING minute use my son as an excuse. **** you all in the ass with a sharp edged rusty pipe! I hope all that bad karma you draw to yourself never leaves and you die as miserably as you're living.
