Beyond Obstruction to Treason

Maher: GOP has moved beyond obstruction to treason . . . http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/05/18/maher-gop-has-moved-beyond-obstruction-to-treason/ …

On Friday night’s edition of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” host Bill Maher and guests filmmaker Michael Moore, commentator S. E. Cupp and New York Times columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin discussed the obstructionist Republican Congress and its mission to take down the president by taking down the country. Moore opined that the Republican Party is a “squealing dinosaur” whose time has come . . .

. . . and what about trying to repeal (ACA) for the 37th time?” Maher went on. “Is that a wise use of our time and resources? At some point, obstruction becomes, um, I dunno, treason.”

“At some point,” Maher said, “it becomes more about hating him than loving our country.”

“No, they hate America,” said Moore. “I think that’s really what it is.”

He went on to say that “conservatives and right-wingers,” as much as they profess to love this country, “they hate it. They hate the government, they hate the people.”

Young people today, he said, “they’re not bigots, they’re not haters.” The Republican Party is a “squealing dinosaur” that is coming face-to-face with its own extinction.

That is like saying that you stopping your toddler from sticking a fork in a light socket is child abuse.
These people get dumber by the day. They still believe the lies that Pelosi, Reid, and 0bama spew about 0bamacare and have no idea just how destructive the whole thing is. So once again our side is trying to save the country and we get called treasonous bastards for our trouble.  :mental:

and I have to say--I almost felt kind of sorry for S.E. in some of the stuff she said because I could hear some folks in the audience literally laughing at her. But I digress.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that Republicans "hate" America, like how Mike said; it's more of a matter of them being apathetic about the well-being of fellow Americans and being mostly concerned with their own pocketbooks. Most of them are too self-centered to do what is necessary to get the country on the correct path again.
I will say, though, that they do seem to have it out for the opposite side of the spectrum, and especially Obama.

Tell you what DUmmy start showing how much you care about your fellow citizens by using your own checkbook, leave the rest of us alone and let us provide for ourselves and help out those we choose to.

4. I think all but the most diehard racists and Christian supremists are beginning to weaken.

The world is rushing by them. Living in constant hate and fear must be exhausting. Imagine having to face, work with (or for) or wait on people you hate and fear the most. Mother nature and corporate neglect seems to have turned on farmers and the good people in small towns and rural area who have put their faith in the Republican party and believed in the evils of regulation, only to have deregulation blow up in their faces.

You should know plenty of living in hate and fear. You hate anyone who dares disagree with you, you fear guns, you fear that any change in the weather means the world is coming to an end, and you fear providing for yourself.

Bill Maher and the rest of the DUmmies aren't just using hyperbole by calling us terrorists and treasonous bastards, they are setting the tone so that if the government does come after us they can convince people that we deserve it. Just like the whole IRS thing at first they will act outraged that it happened then bit by bit they will convince themselves and all low information voters that the Tea Party had it coming.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Let's see...

the Affordable Care Act mandates the IRS be in charge of collections and approval of payment for procedures.  This is the same organization, hell the same people, the thought auditing people based on their political affiliation and refusing to allow conservative groups the right to raise money using 501c status was A-OK.

Then the people in charge of that organization, that answer to the president, had the gall to go before congress and pretend like they didn't know and the president didn't know.  If you believe that, I got some ocean front property out in New Mexico I want to sell you.

Treason to a tyrant is obedience to God.  Suck on that DUmmies.

Fast and Furious -- Obama says he didn't know

Solyndra kickbacks -- Obama says he didn't know

Benghazi coverup -- Obama says he didn't know

Both sides in the Syrian civil war use WMD -- Obama says he didn't know

IRS oppression of free speech -- Obama says he didn't know

So, either the government has gotten so big that it can no longer be effectively controlled...

...or Obama is the most corrupt, feckless POS this country has ever plagued itself with.

Killing of Osama -- 0bama knew and commanded everything.

0bama, always there to take the credit if something goes right....otherwise not so much.

As to the cACA costs have now more than doubled to $1,800 billion, 30 million people will still be uninsured, the deat..er..rationing panels are being filled, and health insurance premiums have doubled with a possible 4 bagger in 2014. That is why the republicans keep trying to repeal cACA. When a leftist talks, you can be assured it is all projection. And since when is the country the government?

On edit, S.E. Cupp handed Jaba his ass on gun control. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/05/18/s-e-cupp-vs-michael-moore-on-guns-i-just-happen-to-be-informed/

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Oh, this isn't an either/or, Snugs--definitely both in this case.

Poor S.E., being in a room with those buckets of communist smegma.

She probably couldn't get to a shower fast enough after that.
Help keep America beautiful...deface a liberal.

The Democrat and Republican parties are simply the left and right wings of the same bird of prey.

The road to freedom is paved with dead liberals.

Yep.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

"On Friday night’s edition of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” host Bill Maher and guests filmmaker Michael Moore..."
OMG, say no more. I never watch that hateful, mind- numbing show, but I'd make a particular effort to avoid that ep, mainly because less than a minute of those brainless, bigoted, hypocritical scumbags together in the same place would cause me to be physically ill.
Now, let's look at some of these gems:
"“At some point,” Maher said, “it becomes more about hating him than loving our country.” "
A couple quick points:
1. Not only is Maher driven exclusively by hate of anyone not like him, 2001 to 2008 was filled with Maher reveling in his hatred of President Bush, often seekng new lows to take it to. In one episode of his show, he openly portrayed Bush as a wife beater with absolutely no proof, just for laughs. Interestingly enough, in real life, several of Maher's own exes have come forward and admitted that he was verbally and physically abusive to them when they were dating him.
2. Maher hates America. He was fired from his old show, 'Politically Incorrect,' as a result of his heartlessly anti- American comments that he made immediately after 9/11.

"“No, they hate America,” said Moore. “I think that’s really what it is.”

He went on to say that “conservatives and right-wingers,” as much as they profess to love this country, “they hate it. They hate the government, they hate the people.” "
OMG, where to begin with that disgusting blob's hypocrisy and BS?
1. Moore hates any politician wo's not a raving Socialist like him. In one of his books, he tried to convince readers to pray that all Republican politicians catch incurable diseases.
2. Moore loves openly expressing his hatred of America and its people, especially when he's in other countries. In an interview for a British newspaper, Moore referred to Americans as "Quite possibly the dumbest people on the planet. We don't know about anything going on outside of our own country. Our stupidity is embarrassing."
3. Another thing Moore likes to do when speaking at public events in different countries is to say, "The dumbest (Insert nationality of whatever audience he's speaking to here, "Canadian," "Brit," etc.) here is smarter than the smartest American."
4. In Moore's crockumentary "Bowling for Columbine," he includes a reprehensible and traitorous animated short, "A Brief History of the United States of America." In it, Moore presents a prepostorously skewed and inaccurate portrayal of American history to basically enable him to say that all Americans from our original founding to today are a bunch of brainless, paranoid, racist, gun- crazy rednecks driven by fear and ignorance in everything they do.
Moore SERIOUSLY has the gall to accuse conservatives (Who usually make a specific point of saying that we love our country and its people, even as we express our disagreement with Obama's policies) of hating America and its people? Pot, meet kettle.
Moore, Maher, and the rest of the ultra-liberal vermin like them claimed repeatedly during the Bush Administration that "Dissent is patriotic," even as the ultra- liberal protestors made it abundantly clear that they hated not just Bush, but America as a whole, often using the exact same drivel that Maher and Moore spewed out.
Now, however, with a Democrat president, they've compltely changed their tune. Dissent is no longer patriotic, anyone who says anything even remotely critical about Obama or any other Dem politician (Again, even those who make a point of saying that they love their country even though they disagree with its leaders' decisions) is branded a traitor who hates America.
Hypocrisy, the sign of a true liberal.
