I think that he predicted that this would happen a few weeks back. He was bitching about his pay, as he was a temp, not being equal to permanent employees.

I'm not surprised, given his piss poor attitude in general, I'd be willing to bet that it bled over into his work environment.

I suspect that the overall productivity of his coworkers has increased now that his worthless ass isn't detracting from their performance.
