No, no, no. Pictures taken by drunks are the best ones.
Here's a list of vendors at the 'fest where we can meet. I'd suggest Farmland because it's a big local corp and should be fairly conspicuous:1 Ameristar2 The Art Institutes International KC3 Brancato's Catering4 Cornerstone Catering5 Farmland 6 Gram & Dun7 Grandmas8 KC Sausage9 Lidia's10 Nicas 32011 Our Sassy Pantry12 Paradise Locker Meats13 PB&J Restaurants Inc.14 Pickleman's Gourmet Café15 Pieroguys16 Pig & Finch17 Simply Breakfast18 Snow & Company19 YaYa's Euro Bistro20 Yogurtini
Someone please try a bacon pierogie for me and let me (us) know if it's awesome?? I'm betting YES!
You mean you eat bugs and bacon with the same set of TEETH?!?
Now THERE'S an idea . . . bacon covered lobster!!!!
YUMMY!!!! or chopped up bacon in a lobstah roll
God will smite you for that.
How 'bout bacon-wrapped ptarmigan?
sounds like def. Big Dog, his son, Moose, Red(?) Eupher, Mrs E?, Marv and Mrs Marv(?) and Chris. if I don't go, it is because of finances... I want to see you all so badly...It is not the airfare, it's all the motels...I dunno...
Roll call: Who is coming to Baconfest?I'll be in Kansas City before 10:00 AM. Anyone want to meet up for coffee?PM me for my cell number.
Damn, I'm gettin antsy..........Ms. marv won't make it either. Bacon is good, but how 'bout Bryant's for some BBQ, too? Best in the US of A! I hope it's still around.
Arthur Bryant's is still there. 1727 Brooklyn Ave, in the heart of Kansas City's "Little Monaco", the finest, most gentrified neighborhood anywhere! Want to have lunch there?
That sounds great. When I worked at the Federal Reserve (it used to be at 9th and Walnut), we did lunches and parties there. I take it that the neighborhood is still pretty much the same as it was 40 years ago..........As an Air Force buddy used to say, "Ya gotta move at all levels."
Yup. 17 and Crooklyn hasn't changed much. Best to be out of range before the sun goes down. But it's fine at lunchtime. The street demons are still in bed.
Keep me in mind for lunch at whatever bbq joint that is around. I don't know KC at all, so you might just wanna play tour guide!
I'm sure we could handle that. Arthur Bryants is famous nationwide, ain't no better. You might want to try their burnt ends. The menu.
