The cool thing is, I fly back into KC where I'm staying the night.

Having a euph lesson with Tom Stein, the MUKC tuba/euph prof, on Friday. Haven't had a real euph lesson since 1982....

Maybe I'll do some bbq afterwards. Either that or pick up the two conures we're supposed to foster.  :thatsright:

Hope your trip and investigation go well.

I hear good things about KC.  Have a good time with the music and food.  Always a good combination!

Safe travels and enjoy your lesson!

Good question. I'm supposed to pick up two conures tomorrow after my music lesson. Will check on that in the morning. One is a Jenday conure and I don't know what the other one is. These are smaller parrots, but apparently one of them is wild caught and rather incorrigible. I suspect I'll be sporting a few more scars after our first meetup.  :-)

Right now I'm sitting in a motel close to the KC airport waiting on tomorrow. Lesson at 1230 pm and then pick up the birds.
