Nutcase nadin Reports On The Big May Day March
« on: May 02, 2013, 12:02:26 AM »
The crazy bald dwarf has returned from an exhausting day marching with a small bunch of communists, deadbeats and other assorted losers, during working hours, on a work day.

The purpose of the march is left to one's imagination.

Happy may day... working on the story for OpEd
right now. I got some really good photos... and lord I am tired. We just marched from Civic Center, on C Street, up and down downtown... the route took is in front of some of the most expensive hotels in town. Why? Remember the hunger strike? Those people need to be treated humanely. It was funny to see security come out, less the workers talk t those marching by.

Then we went up the gaslamp. up to Golden Hill, piece of Trivia, that is where the who's who used to live... and down to the Cesar Chavez Park... just at least five miles. I got my workout. I guess I will sleep like a baby.

still, need to get this done... five hundred + ain't shabby for this town. Oh and did I mention I got photographic evidence that Occupy San Diego is still around? Yup... I got photos...

By the way, a quote from Pedro Rios, a human rights activist are important here and what May Day has become "over the last few years it's become a day for immigrants to assert their rights."

The original haymarket was exactly that, immigrants. in that case German and Irish and Jews, to asset their rights. Ain't history lovely?

Oh and yup, 300+ photos, I will have a few good shots for the article, for sure. In fact, more than I need. But I am glad. By the time we reached Golden Hill, my legs had mostly given up. Oh and yup, the nice blisters are one reason... damn shoes, are not as good as I thought.

Five miles! Can you imagine the fat little dwarf scurrying along like a pumpkin on a pair of popsicle sticks?

And yup, three hundred photos. Five miles. Sixty photos per mile. A picture every eight-eight feet for five freaking miles.

She's not just a reporterette, she's a photojournalist.

1. Aren't you grateful for digital cameras?
Imagine having to develop and process 300+ negatives!

2. I would not take that many... it would be expensive.
though one day we walked in with over 1000 (I barely remember why) and hubby made a joke about having to process them... with a neighbor... it took neighbor a tad to realize Tom was playing with him.

I could use photoshop, I kid, I kid. (I have used it five times, to correct light) of thousand and thousand by now.

There are two shots that if I decide to use them, I will have to. Damn light... sun was behind the marchers, and the kit lens will not accept the hood. So there is glare, lots of it.

I was glad though that I decided against taking the long glass. I could have used it, but that far... I am dead as is.
I was reminded of the good ol' days of Occupy though.

That's pretty damn good! Five hundred photos and only two with bad lighting.

The rest are perfect.

When you combine the crazy bald dwarf with The Good Rig, you get quality.

I hope she posts all five hundred at the DUmp.

500 protesters for a may day march? I have trouble believing that. Nadin claims she has photos...BUT, None are posted.

Further, she lied about walking 5 miles. San Diego has a leash law. She would never have made it.

Not to question our intrepid reporter, but I looked at some other local sources, and it appears to have been a collection of Mexican janitors, bitching about e-verify.

I'm still trying to figure out the point of the march, and what it actually accomplished.

Of course with Libs/Progressives marching is a brave, brave thing to do.

Two replies, one is hers.  :loser:

I just love the adbot. :lmao:

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Yup.  Why would an intelligent and quick-witted bald dwarf use that non-word so often?

She covers it at her blog http://nadinabbottblog.wordpress.com/2013/05/02/hundreds-march-on-mayday-in-san-diego/.  6 out of 300+ weirdly framed photos made the cut.

Maybe 200-300 out of a city of how many millions? Pathetic.
That's going to turn the tide for sure.  :lmao:
I sure hope those weren't "the good ones", she promised.
Standard run of the mill picture taking.
Article is regular socialist bluffoonery.  :rotf:
