Al Gore: "No Intermediate Step Between A Final Supreme Court Decision And A Violent Revolution"
last paragraph
Quote
"I did not know she was going to say it. I made the decision in the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision 12 years ago, to respect the rule of law. I strongly disagreed with their opinion, said so, but the rule of law is the bedrock of American democracy. There is no intermediate step between a final Supreme Court decision and a violent revolution. what was best for the country, the answer was very simple, to respect the rule of law and avoid undermining it and dragging the court into a partisan squabble where the outcome would not change in any case. So I am going to stand by my decision to respect the judiciary," Gore said.

News for Al: there is no intermediate step because the US Supreme Court is the FINAL word on any subject.

Bonus Video at link. it's on tape! It is 15 minutes long, if you don't want to hear so much crap skip to 13:20 for the meat.

Stochastic terrorism...
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

John C Calhoun, "Disquisition on Government", 1840

"We will preserve for our children (America), the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."  -- Ronald Reagan.

"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you." -- Quest for the Holy Grail

They were ready to revolt but after taking inventory and finding they were a few million guns short of an army....then they did the French thing....give up.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

The left still obsesses about the 2000 election, but they want to forget about Benghazi that happened about 7 months ago.

Actually this case should have never gone to the SCOTUS.

Jeb Bush had submitted the certified election results showing W as the winner in Florida to the Feds.

Once that's done according to the law it's a done deal.  Any issue to be fought would have next gone to the Congress when they counted and certified the EC votes.

All of the litigation by Algore after that was a moot point in the eyes of the law...despite the fact the Florida Supreme Court was trying to rewrite election law on the fly.

ManBearPig was never going to be President under any recount scenario.
