9/11 Plane Part Found in Alley Near World Trade Center

A 5-foot-long chunk of airplane debris found near the World Trade Center site is believed to be a piece of landing gear from one of the planes that hit the towers more than 11 years ago, NBC 4 New York first reported.

Police confirmed Friday that the part was found wedged between two buildings in a very narrow alley only about 18 inches wide between the rear of 50 Murray St. and back of 51 Park Place, the site where a mosque and community center has been proposed three blocks from ground zero.

The part bears a "Boeing" stamp, followed by a series of numbers, as seen in an exclusive photo obtained by NBC 4 New York.

I hope that part about where the piece was found reminds people of what Bloomturd and the Islamofaascists are trying to build within site of the greatest Muslim Terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

People have kinda forgotten because the controversy has gone to the back burner.


But this serves as a perfect reminder of the Victory Mosque that is going to be built within sight of the WTC and the fact that it needs to be stopped from ever being completed.

Mom and I donated dad's car to the Newseum in DC.

While there, I walked over to the 9/11 section. There's a section of the radio tower antenna recovered from 9/11. I hardly ever cry but I did here.



Sobering and powerful — we must never forget what happened on 9/11. I highly recommend DC visitors go to the Newseum.

ABC reports

NEW YORK - A rusted piece of airplane landing gear discovered wedged between a mosque and an apartment building and believed to be from one of the hijacked planes that destroyed the nearby World Trade Center on Sept. 11 has been confirmed as coming from the type of Boeing jet used in the attacks.
Police said Saturday that detectives had been in contact with officials at Chicago-based Boeing Co. who confirmed the wreckage was from a Boeing 767. Police have said the landing gear had a clearly visible Boeing identification number.
The American Airlines and United Airlines planes hijacked by Islamic extremists in 2001 were Boeing 767s. Boeing spokesman John Dern said he could not confirm whether the ID matched the American Airlines plane or the United Airlines plane.

Doesn't appear to be any part of a 67 landing gear.
Best guess would be a flight control actuator.

Doubtful that the other is cable. Much too large in diameter, and the bend radius is too sharp.
