I'm angry that the Senate makes time to fix the ATC problem, but ignore or block . . . .

. . . . every other damned thing that heads their way.

Yeah, I get it. Lots of good reasons to fix that problem. But there are even greater reasons to stop cuts elsewhere. Like . . . . . name one . . . . how about meat inspectors? As but one example.

Have some fun. Name other fixes that should have happened before ATCs?

1. STC

I'm not sure it WAS as big a deal as it has been made out to be.

We flew in on a direct flight from Costa Rica to NEWARK (read - new hell airport) on Tuesday night and even though we had to circle in the air for 25 minutes for landing - we still ended up at the gate 15 minutes earlier than expected arrival time. On the worst airline eveeeeeeeeeeer -United.

I think this the airline lobby acting like the gun lobby - nothing more and nothing else.

2. How about Meals on Wheels

Or Social Security. Or Head Start.

The other question is why didn't we take the money from experimental weapons design, or better yet, cancel one F-35 Stealth Jet, and have enough money to cover the Sequestration? Wouldn't that have made more sense?

16. Those programs don't inconvenience them. Delayed flights do.

Amazing when it concerns their comfort and well being, the problems are immediately solvable. Time for Occupy to traffic jam the routes to the airports in DC. More missed flights might make them go back and reconsider all of the above.

3. This affects them

So of course they must fix it. The hell with the rest of the mess that affects others.

12. Hey! Our "BETTERS" need the ATC.

after which a news photograph*

We don't want the 1% to experience any inconvenience in their commutes.

Inconvenience is for the peasants.

*Now, I'm not sure if the primitive was aware of the personalities in the photograph, when he posted it.  Being a primitive, probably not.  It's a photograph of Bela Pelosi, some obscure Democrat, and Scary Harry, speaking at a press conference.

The primitive probably thought he was posting a photograph of evil Republican pols.

You know, ever since I--and the world--learned that the adroit sparkling old dude's been married before (as has his much-younger trophy wife, but everybody knew that detail), I've been thinking about it, wondering what happened.

It's obvious the adroit sparkling old dude made a mistake, a really bad mistake, dumping his first wife.

This is just speculation, but I'm guessing his first wife was also of Italianate derivation, and near his own age.

But then he threw her away for a WASP wife, a much-younger wife.

After all, she, his first wife, was starting to get grey and drab and wrinkled and a little heavy around the edges, and here was a young nubile chick.....

What the sparkling old dude forgot to remember is that an old wife, like an old dog, is utterly faithful and true.

As I said, this is just speculation, but I'll bet I'm not far off the mark.

No.  Bvar loathes and detests the filthy rich democrat politicians.  He's been starting to rail against them.  He really ought to turn his sites on Alan Grayson.

Uh, DUmmies, your hero 0bama decided where to make the cuts NOT the Republicans. HE chose to cut meals on wheels, NOT congress. HE chose to cut WH tours for school children. Now why would he do that? To punish the US! He WANTS us to suffer so we'll blame congress. However, I don't think it's gonna work...everyone in the country knows he's the one who banished WH tours. Everyone knows he didn't have to do that. Schools begged him to leave it open. They and their VOTING parents will remember that because that's OUR house, not his. People also know he's the one who cut traffic controllers' hours. That's a huge inconvenience for a good portion of the citizens. They also know CONGRESS restored their hours. They also know they won't feel this in their pocket book. If the Republicans were smart they'd pound this over and over again during the mid terms. Because THIS is more important to the average American than allow ILLEGAL non immigrants amnesty. In fact the majority of the country doesn't want it and 94% simply don't give a rat's ass about it. And the country also knows, instead of setting and example and doing without like the rest of the country, he's still having lavish parties with celebrites while his wife jets around taking lavish vacations, courtesy of the US taxpayer. He's an uncaring, selfish person...I think some people are starting to wake up to that, thanks to HIS sequester.

I have it on good authority that Sparkling Old Dude is angry because Trophy Wife said Big Dog's name in her sleep.

Karin, please tell me how that would be a bad thing. :???:

Why is the government doing Meals on Wheels? I thought that was a charity?
