Big Bertha back in therapy

Oh my.

Okay, everybody's seen that famous photograph of Big Bertha on that scooter, so no point in tracking it down and posting it again.

back in therapy

I had a major meltdown on a Friday a couple of weeks ago. Once I had calmed down, my wife said, "Baby. You need therapy."

I'd seen a really good therapist, Jane, several years ago, but quit in 2008. Money was tight and she didn't take insurance. Plus, it was very hard to get to her office and just the trip there and back was daunting enough to make me quit.

Since then, I've looked intermittently for therapists near my home and who take my insurance, with lousy results (including several where I left messages and got no call-back at all, not even to say "sorry, I'm booked").

I called Jane the Monday after the meltdown. She had just had a regular client cancel, so she had a regular spot ready-made just for me, Tuesdays at 7:00. And she did not raise her rate.

I will brave the hour-long six mile commute to get to Jane. I need serious help.

The first session a couple of nights ago has already yielded positive results.

Thanks for listening.

2. Good for you!

We all need help once in a while. I am glad you are doing this. The hardest part for me was getting it started. Once involved I was able to make it and get a positive outcome. The same will be true for you.

3. Kind of humbling

To get to the point where one admits they need a little help. Talking it out, puts your troubles into words, for your therapist to understand, but also for you to understand. It helps paint a picture to get your head around. The answers are within you, this just helps tease them out.

A 6 miles per hour one......you know, a hay wagon pulled by a Farmall Cub tractor would be faster than that....and oh so third worldly.

Why the hell would anyone publicize this? Really, nothing wrong with getting help, but why tell the whole fricking world? Don't they have any small, private boards where they can announce that shit!

Well, I for one will admit I'm intensely curious as to what her problem is, what caused a "meltdown."

In my wildest imaginings, I can't imagine what it'd be, because Big Bertha and franksolich are so totally opposite I really couldn't relate to whatever problem it is she has.

I need some help on this, because the imagination's not vivid enough.

Here, you got a woman, a femme, a member of the female race, who plays the role of the "husband" in a "marriage" with an older, equally heavy but somewhat meek and gentle, woman.

What sorts of problems might she be having?

Big Bertha has a wife????

There's a wedding picture of them, but it wouldn't be decent to post it, because Big Bertha's wife isn't a primitive.

If both were primitives, it'd be okay.

Anyway, from that wedding picture, it appears Big Bertha's wife is about 10-12 years older than her, but equal in weight.  Her face betrays a soft bovine docility, while Big Bertha's lustful leer says, "I'm going to have you any which way I want to have you."

If I ran into Big Bertha, I'd run away really fast.

Takes allot of imagination to figure out what poor BB is upset about.

How old are these woman, is this a sexual problem , a health issue or a family problem ???

Regardless of all the talk of sex, I still believe that 2 people of the same sex can live together be affectionate without all the physical action, same as people of opposite sex can and do so.

Many Heterosexuals marry with no way to consummate the marriage due to some kind of health issues.

I am trying to stay away from the Gay Marriage controversy here, However I have seen Heterosexual marriages of people in their 70's and older in nursing homes between old timers with no chance of sex but a hug or kiss.

A class of people that gay or straight marry for companionship  , not for LUST.

So I cannot understand the melt down BB had, is she a Drama Queen or just overwhelmed by life in general ??

I had to really dig through all those pictures to find it; it was a lot of digging.

Now, someone dare tell me that the leer on Big Bertha's face in that "wedding" photograph isn't pure lust and domination.  She looks like she's ready to devour her wife.

Is Bertha a man? If so, I was listening to a podcast yesterday with a doctor who said men become irritable and even violent when their testosterone is too low and anti-cholesterol drugs like Lipitor create this condition because it takes cholesterol to make testosterone.

I am not a doctor and I have not researched these claims, only having first heard them last night but if Bertha is a man he might want to research this himself. I'm sure, being a DUmmie named Bertha, he is still in need of tons of therapy.

Isn't a regular walking pace about 5 miles/hour? I seem to remember this odd fact from grade school.

Just the term "her wife" is enough for the "ew".

You know, if the big guy shaved off that absurd, comical neckbeard, he and Big Bertha would look like fraternal twins.
