Duck Dynasty

My sister hounded me into watching this show, she knows I hate reality TV.  Anyone else a fan?  I know most of the episodes are obviously scripted and poorly acted, but what about uncle Si?  There is no way that guy is faking it, he's the real deal. I love this guy.

The early episodes are good.  I can't get in to the new ones... it's just not the same.

Duck Dynasty was mentioned on another site so I watched a few episodes.  They are funny but I grew tired of them quickly

Same here.  They show three hours of half-hour episodes before any new shows come on every Wednesday.

I'm kinda tired of them myself.  Seen all the good ones.  It doesn't take long to get caught up.

My brother loves it. I watched a few episodes and thought it was funny. Kind of reminds me of growing up in east Texas.
Si is hilarious, but Jase is my favorite.

They say it pisses liberals off so I like it.
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

I haven't watched this season as it went along; but I know A & E shows the heck out of it. I figured I'd catch a marathon. I did watch a few episodes last night before the finale; and LMAO. I like it because it's very family friendly (unlike most reality shows out there these days). I also like the fact that Phil says a prayer (blessing) at the end of each episode.
When Harry Truman was President of the United States, he had a sign on his desk in the White House that said: "The buck stops here." If Barack Obama had a sign on his desk, it would say: "The buck stops with Bush." - Thomas Sowell

I would rather hang out with this family than any one in Hollywood, except for Rob Lowe or Robert Downey Jr. (For obvious selfish reasons).

Kilgore.
It's close to Longview and Tyler.

Are you familiar with the area?
