Having a little celebratory dinner of spotted owl cooked over a tire fire tonight, afterwards we turn on every light in the house and change the oil in the trucks over the ditch.

And ya'll?

Was thinkin' about lighting a fire with PCB-contaminated oil, then sustained with oak cut from a mature forest.

I plan on using only one side of a sheet of paper all day, throw away batteries, dump some oil near the creek, and burn the mountain of plastic bags under our counter.

Change all the light bulbs in my house back to 100 w incandescents. Light the fireplace tonight and eat a steak cooked over a coal fire.

For a little mischief, I think I'll accidentally mix some recycles and grass clippings in with the regular trash.

This morning I went to the recycle bins in front of all the houses on my street and THREW the recycling in their regular trash bin, Covered it with our leftover oil from last weekend's oil change so people wouldn't get all crazy trying to move it back.  :-)

Left all the lights on in my house, and the ac cranked to 60 with the windows open.  (cooling the neighborhood)

When I get home, I will work on a little target practice with our roaming coyotes (they're good for the neighborhood, don'tcha know...)  whilst my man grills up some egret and whooping crane.  Yum!

R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

I'm going to run my dishwasher, clothes washer, and dryer all at the same time tonight...during PEAK hours too. Heck, I may even throw on my stove for good measure.

Natural gas is too clean-burning.  Doesn't count.

The usual ....plus cut a load of firewood with a 2-cycle chainsaw.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
