Bellevue voters may get to decide on City Council vacancy

Maybe this time you can do it!

Time to resurrect ElectSteveDawes.com.

We need to help the neckbeard out.

I wonder if he'll have another mini Taco night?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I'm excited about the prospect.

I really think the big guy has a chance this time, based upon his learning experience last time.

The number one issue that will hold him back is whether or not if he paid his wife back the money he wasted for the last feeble attempt.

If he still owes her for the one lawn sign he had printed, then the answer is no.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

The timing is perfect! The beginning of riding season.

I look forward to many road trips to Bellevue to support Steve Dawes' appointment to the Bellevue City Council.

I also look forward to barbecue at Swine Dining on Mission Ave; and beer and mini-tacos at Bear's Bar.

Maybe Coach will be his campaign manager this since the Big Guy failed so miserably last time.

Do it Stevie - your city needs your socialism (and we need the humour of watching you fall flat on your face again).

I dunno. What if the Bellevue Ward 1 special election is held this summer, an unusual time to vote, with no other races on the ballot. Or worse, it coincides with a school board race, or Steve-O gets a weed legalization measure on the ballot. Only the weeper, potheads, the socialist teachers, and his union comrades will turn out. Normal folks will be on vacation enjoying the summer and enjoying time with their kids off of school- politics far out of mind.

Highly unlikely the stars align for The Big Guy, but many a seat has been swiped in such a fashion.

Suggested campaign literature to help the Weeper educate the people of Ward 1 about his political views:

Quote
An exchange on “Behind the sellout of the struggle in Wisconsin”

By Jerry White
30 March 2011

The following is an exchange on the March 25 WSWS article by Tom Eley, “Behind the sellout of the struggle in Wisconsin.”

The WSWS needs your support!

The letter writer, Steven Dawes, is a shop steward from local 251 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) in Omaha, Nebraska. The reply is by WSWS writer Jerry White.

This story is way off base. The rush to sign contracts was to insure a continuation of the benefits and working conditions of the workers. Something very easy to understand. Why go out of your way to make union leaders look bad? Do they make 300+ times more than their members like CEOs of most major US companies?

And to think unions and socialists used to be on the same page. I’ve always backed socialism. Together with labor the team passed workers comp, unemployment insurance, and several other important worker protections. I’d be interested in any reply, update, correction, etc., you might have or publish.

Well, it's one thing for us to know about this.

More importantly, have The Friends of Steve Dawes been informed?

They have.  They inform me the electstevedawes website is still intact, ready to be taken live the second the Bellevue Waste of Skin announces his candidacy.
