White Hat is definitely light skinned and appears to be Caucasian. Black Hat may have somewhat darker skin than White Hat but it's still too unclear about his race or origin. And I don't know if the darker skin might just be a matter of shadows. We. Just. Don't. Know. Anything. Yet.

I’ve seen blonde and red headed Iranians, Afghanis and Pakistanis. don’t look caucasian to me, they look ME Just saw the photos. I am relieved as they both look middle eastern to me. Warpy (68,341 posts) 4. Dunno, the schnoz on the guy in the white caplooks pretty Mediterranean to me. What struck me about these losers was that the t shirts were blank, as were the jackets and white cap. They stayed completely away from logos in a town where most t shirts have pictures and writing on them. That alone should have made them stand out.

Radical Islam is a religion, not a race. But with that being said - If I were an Islamic terrorist who was hell-bent on attacking the United States, I would work hard to recruit members who could pass for typical Americans - because sending over older men in prayer robes, with long beards, sandals and head wraps is probably going to arouse suspicion...DUmbasses...

Well, from what I see, one looks white and one looks darker skinned. Pretty much rules out skinheads. Don't exactly look like RW extremists, either. Even if the FBI can't identify them, they look quite young and not all that careful.Cindie

Imagine all the shit Fox and the Repugs are going to raise if these guys turn out to be Muslim. The fear mongering and finger pointing is going to be intense. I think of how terrified everyone was by 9-11, and it was indeed awful. Yet far more Americans died in Iraq and Afghanistan than during the 9/11 attacks.
