You can have all the book smarts in the world...but if you don't have a lick of common sense you'll never make it in life.
Absolutely right.
My Dad taught me how to weld, solder, wire, plumb, and lay brick, all before I was 13.
Before I turned 16, I wired and plumbed the addition we built onto our house. At 22, I was hired to do fleet mantanence for a trucking company, a job I did for 20 years. I do ALL my own mechanic work on my cars, in fact, the only time any of my vechicles have been in a service department of a dealership was either for warranty work or a factory recall.!
I made a lot of money back in the 1990's, when Klintoon mandated oil companies remove sulphur from diesel fuel. Injector pumps were seizing left and right from this, and I charged liberals in their Rabbits and Jettas double what a farmer with an International tractor would pay.
So BB, keep your Phd in BS or whatever, I have an education that can actually be used.
I don't need a piece of paper to prove it.
