I can tell by your comments on the state of the nation that you education comes via Fox and Rush.  What you are witnessing in America now is the fallout of investment capitalism and deindustrialization.  Republicans and Democrats alike share responsibility since they put the interests of big money donors above ordinary Americans and the nation as a whole. The difference is that Democrats care a bit about ordinary Americans while Republicans consider rapacious greed a virtue.  Besides, who becomes a Republican now?  No one.  Your party is self-destructing, and you all are adding more fuel to the fire.  That, by the way, is not something I relish.  Our country needs a strong opposition party, whereas they are currently too afraid of primary challenges from the lunatic right to do anything but moan.  Their impotence helps no one, certainly not the nation.

What you're ignoring is the fact that even when the Republicans roll over and give 44 EVERYTHING he asked for...the President moves the goal posts and says it's not enough.

Back in the early 1990s, before I went to the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants, for a few months I had a really boring job, and watched C-Span a lot.  That was probably the most television I've ever watched in my life, but really, there wasn't anything else one could do, other than just sit there and twiddle the thumbs.

I never bothered with the closed-captioning, which is, really, a nuisance and interferes with "receiving the message."  It's easier just to read the body language.

There was one instance where the sour dour Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Maryland) was being interviewed, and it was pointed out to her that polls showed two-thirds of Americans weren't nearly as enthusiastic about abortion as she was.

Your point about numbers suggests reading comprehension problems.  Another factor you ignore is state income taxes.  States like MN that have a sizable state tax pay for infrastructure and services some others depend on the federal govt for.  We also have better educational systems and great economic productivity that result in a Population with a higher tax base.

I was born a Republican, and unlike many white Democrats I've lived most of my life in areas as a minority, saw firsthand the results of the genocide against the black community. And what we're seeing now in this Country isn't a fallout from Capitalism, what we're seeing are the results of a society in moral decay brought on by the Democrats by attacking God amongst other things which is the reason my Mother left the Democratic Party, she felt as if they were mocking her, also brought on by attacking people who like me do the right thing, who busted her ass working 2 jobs for 15 years, who went to school and worked and paid for it all myself because my Parents didn't have the money, lived on chicken legs and pasta daily when times were tough, and they were tough most of the time, but we refused to go on the dole because we refuse to become dependents of those who have nefarious purposes.

Address the South Side of Chicago please.
