The "where r u" business is nearly all pre-teens.

People above the age of about fourteen try to spell and punctuate texts and tweets.

Some are too DUmb to do it.

I have most of these episodes memorized from when I saw them in the late '80s - This clip was the first thing this stupid poll made me think of and thankfully Youtube had it.

It's a clear and reliable indicator of their intellect

They also can't do simple math or fill in the states on a map of America.

To be fair, Twitter isn't the best example, since they limit you to 140 characters.  I do try and use full words and proper punctuation there, but I can see why some don't.

On a side note, Google Chrome has a grammar checker as well as a spell checker, now.  No help for punctuation yet.

If you have netflix you guys should check out The Comic Strip. Same guys from TYO but their fictional band Bad News and the resulting documentaries about them are hysterical. They are like Spinal Tap without all the fame. :rotf:

I use two tweets if I cannot fit everything into one.  I cannot punctuate every single word just to make it one tweet.  lol
