Too early to get primitive concensus yet--that is, if one's not sure how the primitives are going to react.

Today is going to be a great day for DU monitoring. They are going to rip each other apart trying to message control and tell each other how to behave. I might go get a six pack around noon and kick back.

Yeah, that is a problem.

It didn't used to be, back when the primitives had no idea other people were watching them.

Now that they know, they're going to try "message-controlling" all over the place.

But we know how they really feel.

Who's that primitive who said words to the effect of "DU never gloats over the other side's deaths?"

You know that you have lived a good life, done great things, benefitted the world in general and left it a better place for having been when the DUmmies disparage you in death.

Double bonus overtime for the primitives now.  They get to be angry about Dear Leader over Social Security/Medicare and grave dance at the same time.  I'm surprised that more people, when observing the primtives and other liberals around the world, don't say "I sure wish I could be angry and miserable all the time just like them."  It truly boggles the mind.

What I will NEVER understand are those here who are acting like there was something redeeming about her political legacy. I mean

She was a RW asshole. The fewer Thatcher-types in the world the better. And maybe someday we have a system where people like that cannot reach power.

“I've never wished a {wo}man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.”

Thatcher and Reagan had charmed lives and both spent their retirement with Alzheimer's disease, utterly oblivious to the havoc they wrought throughout both countries and becoming dreadful burdens to the people around them.

I don't think this is coincidence. I think such soulless people generally end up like this, escaping any responsibility or condemnation for their actions.

It's why I wish I could believe in a hell.

That doesn't mean that good people won't get it, you know. It just means that people who lack an elemental part of the human psyche like Reagan and Thatcher did seem to get it more often.

Maybe a study linking soullessness and dementia?

If not, then it's basically mumbo jumbo.

There will be some of Irish Catholic descent who will be less than happy with Thatcher's legacy in Northern Ireland.

I'm expecting a lot of Bobby Sands, MP-type posts on facebook, etc. I'm also surprised--but then again, not really--that the DUmp hasn't hit on this part yet. Bobby Sands, after all, was Catholic. He was imprisoned for possession of a revolver.

For my part, I'm an American who will remember her as a staunch ally in the Cold War.

As a very wise man of Northern Irish descent once told me,

Margaret Thatcher makes DUmp democrats, for whom God does not exist, very nervous.

The fact that two once-in-centuries leaders emerged to guide the world's only two great civilizations simultaneously clearly shows the hand of God at work.

In tandem, President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher freed hundreds of millions of people, destroyed the world's great evil of their time, and gave mankind the framework for the longest period of unprecedented prosperity and happiness in human history.

Even today, with a godless heathen in the White House, and democrats destroying every bit of freedom that comes within their reach, we still enjoy many echoes of the gifts Reagan/Thatcher left for humanity.

Champagne was flowing tonight as the Left took to the streets to celebrate the death of former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

More than 300 people gathered in Glasgow city centre, while over 100 revellers amassed on the streets of Brixton, south London.

Within hours of her death, people had taken to micro blogging sites to organise the gatherings.

More proof that whatever the leftists falsely accuse decent and civil people of doing they have already done.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
